“Excellent experience”

Our stay at Hotel Las Longueras was spectacular! The hotel is very well designed and decorated, with a special style that makes it look like a museum. The rooms are large, comfortable and quiet. It has an enormous garden and is surronded by a finca so it is really nice to walk around. The breakfast is served on a terrace with a beautiful view and there is a nice swimming pool next to the eating area. The personnel is overall super kind and available. This place is perfect for solo travellers, couples, groups of friends, even with kids as they have a very cute play room with boards and other toys! The main thing to anticipate is that there is no restaurant on the hotel and in the town of Agaete restaurants tend to close early, so it is important to take this into account for late arrivals, nevertheless they have a vending machine with some cheese, tortillas and other quick snacks/packed meals, which is thoughful! Excellent experience overall, we managed to truly relax and disconnect, so we highly recommend the place and will definitely retun soon :)!!

A stunning building with unexpected history and even more stunning surroundings. Perfect spot for a quiet break or a great base for hikers. Large, high-ceiling rooms, comfy beds, nice little pool, a few minutes walk from a great local grill bar (closes at 5 PM). Really supportive and caring staff, happy to take their time and guide you through the property, but also assist with whatever query you might have. While they do not serve dinner during the low season, there's a small vending machine with some long-shelf meals, so you will not go to sleep hungry if you have nothing on you.

The property was wonderfully characterful. Alcove and walls were full of old artefacts and paintings. It had been a plantation in the past but water shortages have changed that. They grow as much fruit as they can for guests. I especially enjoyed the company of the cats and chickens at breakfast

This was our third visit to Hotel Rural Las Longueras. We love the orignal, historic character of the hotel, the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings.

We last stayed here in 2018. The location is mainly what drew us back, in the green valley of Agaete. The pool area is comfortable, lovely to lie on the loungers under the orange trees with the scent of blossom. The staff are charming. The water is hot, the room (2) large and airy. The restaurants just down the road in Puerto de las Nieves are very good, delicious food and not expensive, we went down each evening.

It is the most wonderful location - to be able to sit outside at breakfast and enjoy that spectacular view - while being waited on, was the highest luxury and greatest delight.

Very peacefully, authentic older hotel and comfortable. Set in a stunning valley with excellent walks which is what we wanted. Staff were very helpful.

The location of this small hotel was really beautiful- set in a luscious valley. The rooms were furnished with antiques and were spacious. Pool area was lovely, staff friendly and breakfast good. The view from the breakfast terrace was really nice. Our bedroom was large and well furnished and bathroom good. Car hire essential.

“Charm in spades - everything I look for in a country hotel”

Lovely breakfast on terrace with splendid views of the valley Beautiful setting in a lush valley - palm trees, orange groves, a cactus garden… Building is a 19th century country house, elegantly furnished with antiques - the feel is of being a guest at a private house, much more enjoyable than an impersonal, characterless hotel experience. But you feel free to roam and use the gorgeous drawing room , reading room with vast windows and views all the way to the sea… yes, some of the furnishings are a bit worn - but such beautiful fabrics and original pieces!

“Little paradise in Gran Canaria”

Little paradise in a green valley, next to the lovely Aegete village and a little harbor. Historic house, with a lot of charm, in the middle of a fruit garden. We had a large double room, totally calm and cool even during warm days (loved the decoration of the bathroom). For the breakfast (a la carte and prepared a la minute, with fresh products) you will face the wonderful valley and hear little birds. Staff is professional and friendly. There are not too many rooms and most of the time you feel you are alone in this big property and this is just perfect to relax (cannot describe the feeling but it just feels wonderful and relaxing). There is a swimming pool and e Bike rental options (did not try). In the evening, they offer dinner options, otherwise you can try one of the tapas restaurants in Aegete or the sea food restaurants from the harbor (highly worth the visit), and finish with a walk to the natural swimming pools on the sea side. I can only recommend this place (wish we would could have stayed longer).

Perfect service from the management (Lourdes), atmosphere, location , peace and tranquility. Staff were all very curteous and under perfect management of Lourdes one would not expect otherwise.
