The area is famous for its natural pools and rocky beaches. Each room has its own distinctive décor, and the private bathroom comes with a shower. Some rooms have a balcony. Absolutely great place to spend relaxing time. Our room was very comfortable with access to an amazing terrace with a stunning view! If you are looking for a quiet place to recharge and relax that would be definitely great choice. Also a very good base to explore area around or other parts of the island. Very pleased for choosing Casa Luna!

“lovely traditional house”
A lovely traditional house with high ceiling and lots of character, the artwork and furniture making it very cosy. Very nice inner patio and terrace. Monica, a nice host with good English ( and probably even better German) will let you know about cafes, good eateries and hiking routes in the area. There is a kettle to make tea and a jug of water on the dining table to use until you buy your own. A small fridge would be nice but you can work around it, a 2 min walk to a bakery/cafe across from the library in the morning and if you don't want to walk to the port to eat out in the evening, there's a pizza/burger place/bar on the square and the pizza is decent enough. If you don't like deep fried seafood, you will somewhat struggle to find a decent place to eat out at, that is not some tourist trap, I'm really sorry to say. Other than Hondo close to the big Spar and the sandwich place close to the smaller Spar, I would recommend the tapas bar Salsamora, it is small but has a very good vibe. The rock pools are superb, the hiking route down to Playa Guayedra offers splendid views and Agaete valley with the coffee cultivation is a special place, the hike up from San Pedro towards Era de Berbique and Tamadaba is beautiful and varied but it's not as short to the top as the guides and blogs make it sound. Every hiker I met was huffing and puffing, 24 degrees on the sheltered inner side of the gorge was plenty and felt stuffy, you will get some sea breeze though as you get higher.

The apartment was really clean, it had an aesthetic room and bathroom with everything necessary. We could even chill on the terrace with a nice view. The room was refreshingly cold, even though it was hot outside (march). We had glasses, cutlery, kettle available and could make coffee/tea. Parking was possible nearby on a narrow street or at the parking lot close by. Cafes and restaurants were also quite close.

“A lovely escape from the bustle of city life to a charming village and fishing village.”
The location was very good - a short walk from the village square on a quiet road with stunning views of the mountains from the roof terrace.
