“An affordable and very comfortable Desert Night experience! Well worth it.”

There are only 2 A-frame rooms currently but the other accommodation is very clean; spacious and comfortable. We had a deluxe room that provided a little Annex with kettle facilities, extra bedding and a dressing table. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The staff were very good hosts and looked after us on the dune bash en-route to see the sunset - one of the most rewarding sights of any desert night stay. Food was plentiful and varied and provided in a community food hall. The camp is actually not far after leaving established road networks - about 3-4Km - and so the usual necessity to deflate tyres for travelling over sand was not necessary but still needed care crossing.

Everything was perfect

The Bungalow itself, the tour to the desert, the hospitality from Salah Alhajri was top notch from start to finish. We were the only couple at that time at the resort, he made sure everything was on point. Thank you for everything Akhi, may Allah SWT grant you in sha Allah everything good and most important health!

We loved our stay at Bidiya Desert Camp. Mr Abdullah was a super lovely host, even upgrading us to a better room than we booked. A reason I booked this place was because reviews said you can reach there without a 4x4. We did get stuck in the sand in our little car, but Mr Abdullah expertly got our car out. We could have avoided getting unstuck if we went on the road that was harder packed sand or took air out of our tyres. But Mr Abdulla did meet us at the point where we needed to turn onto the better road, but because we didn't have reception, didn't know he was waiting for us there to help. We also got dinner and breakfast which was great. And did the sunset Jeep tour, which I also recommend. I would 100% recommend this place for a night in the desert to anyone.

“Magical desert experience with great hosts”

A little distance away from the other camps and up on a ridge so the views over the dunes are amazing. The tents on stilts also great! Dinner and breakfast wonderful, hosts very friendly around the campfire. Easy pickup from local town where we left our hire car. Great experience!

Great location right next to dunes, you can go for a walk in the desert to see incredible sunset/sunrise but safari tour is higly recomended and worth every riyal! :) Hamet and Abdullah are both kind and helpful. We had a great time! :D

Nothing

Everything is great, the staff are helpful and quick to respond. I recommend visiting the camp and watching the sunset and sunrise. It was special and the food is very excellent, buffet.

A Mini Cooper can reach the entrance of the tent, and it's situated in the middle of the desert with nothing else around—a large and well-established camp, the best in Bidiyah. The final stretch of road leading to the camp isn't paved but rather a hardened dirt road covered with sand. However, with guidance from the owner's family, I drove there and back successfully even with a small -2 door MINI. It's worth mentioning that the owner's family lives at the campsite and is incredibly helpful, which makes you feel safe even in the middle of the desert. It is really a big camp with everything. It's a perfect spot to watch the sunset in the evening and stargaze at night. And my whole family slept very well. Worth visiting again.
