“Feels like home!”

Stylish, spacious, elegant, clean, classical. This is only a short description of Grand Studios. I totally enjoyed my four night stay at this marvellous place, and I really felt sad when I had to depart. The inner garden is beautiful and a great rescue from the scorching sun. The coffee machine is a great asset. Afissos itself is a small yet charming place. The Grand Studios are right on the seashore, so when you look out of the window, you feel like sailing on a ship. Ms. Georgia, the owner, is one of the kindest and most intelligent people I have ever met throughout my extensive travels. She gave me homemade pogatza to eat and cared for me during my stay. Thank you ever so much, I will surely return!

Excellent location, wonderful hospitality

“Excellent place, with excellent furnishings and excellent service!”

The studio is large, with an excellent location and everything you need for a pleasant vacation. There is a huge and comfortable bed, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries, glasses, plates - everything you need, even more than necessary :) We arrived late in the evening and yet they welcomed us. There is a table in the studio and outside in yard. There is also a table on the street in front and you can eat on the beach. We are extremely happy with the service! Navigation took us via narrow road with sharp turns where is difficult for driving. I recommend, if you are coming by car from Volos, to use the first entrance for Afissos and pass by Sonar Beach Spot. “The situation was lovely but, sadly, the studio did not live up to it.”

Afissos is lovely. However, Booking.com misleadingly classify this property as a hotel. It is in fact a self catering studio. So there was no breakfast offered.

“Clean apartment with good facilities on a busy street”

Nice size studio apartment, everything clean. Lots provided in the kitchen (not that I used it). There was a very nice restaurant down the road. Bed was comfortable.

“Put Afissos on your list!”

The lovely Georgia met us and showed us around the beautiful apartment that was situated right on the water. We were tiold about Afissos by family who stayed there so we decided to stay for a 2 day rest on our way driving up north. This little town did not disappoint. Grand Boutique has prime position along the main street surrounded by lovely cafes and restaurants. The beach is a 2 minute walk. The apartment is an open plan bedroom, lounge, dining, kitchen and very spacious. Lots of areas to open up luggage comfortably. Georgia is the most beautiful lady who is on hand to help with whatever you need. We drove to Agio Ioannis and Mylopotamos beaches on the other side of the peninsula. Pelion is a beautiful region to explore where the mountains meet the sea. Afissos nightlife is just great with bars staying open till very late. There is also a supermarket for all your needs.
