Overview
Opened in October 2013, the prizeotel Affoltern Am Albis can be found half-way between Zürich and Zug, a 20-minute drive or train ride from both cities. All rooms offer free WiFi and coffee/tea making facilities. Each room is air-conditioned and soundproofed and comes with a flat-screen cable TV and a work desk with an ergonomic chair. A continental buffet breakfast can be enjoyed every morning. Parking is available for a surcharge in the underground garage of the prizeotel Affoltern Am Albis. Zurich International Airport is 30 minutes away by car. You can reach the A4 highway in just 2 minutes and there are direct connections by train to Zurich and Zug every 20 minutes.

“Superb hotel. Will stay again.”
Superb hotel. Very close to the train station. A dedicated underpass for pedestrian is just in front of the hotel. From the train station can go direct to Zurich or Zug. The station is not crowded and so peaceful.

“Below average stay”
Hotel is very dated and needs updating. More attention to detail is needed for example no shower gel. The shower door did not close properly, one cup for two guests in the room. The one cup was never replaced once it was used. Difficult to get hold of reception staff despite them having an "emergency number". It is more akin to student accommodation than a hotel. That said, the staff, when you did see them, were fantastic. They just have to work with what they have been given.

“Great value and train connections”
The location is a bit outside Zurich and the Zug/Baar areas - but still an easy train ride away. Hotel is located next to the train station so it was very convenient. It is business traveler friendly. The rooms are bright and comfortable for a few nights of work travel. Great value!

“A lovely affordable place to stay.”
Everything was great. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. The breakfast was excellent, the bed good size and very comfortable, the sitting and restaurant area was quiet and comfortable allowing us to rest peacefully after our long travels. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

“One night stop with a nice suprise”
The hotel is easily reachable from the freeway. Room was large and with all the needs. Big television and useful kettle. The area is quiet and the hotel silent. The lady at the reception was very kind and spoke perfect English. I would suggest this hotel to everyone who is looking for an affordable hotel in this area.
