We booked an extra night of our stay so that we arrived at about 5am and was able to go straight to bed in the room booked for the rest of the stay.

Great location for a relaxing break, room and view exceptional. Bus was easy to catch into the nearest town or Papeete. The staff at the resort booked a boat ride for us which was fantastic. We learnt about Polynesia history and had a lovely fish lunch with his relatives. We didn't use the small pool but we went in the sea where rocks protected us from the heavy waves either side.

“Great potential but could do better”
Wow, this place has a potential - a nice quiet location, right at the beachfront, lot’s of room and possibilities etc. But this all doesn’t matter if it is not kept up right. I mean it isn’t a disaster but surely it needs someone to take care of it with his heart. And a lot of maintenance. I’m not even talking about major reconstruction or anything. Just make sure there is a toilet paper in the toilet, there is gas for the water heater for shower, the toilet door actually locks, that you respond when customers write to you etc.

“Basic, budget accommodation in tranquil surroundings and beautiful location.”
Secluded location next to a private beach and beautiful gardens. We stayed in the garden room which was basic but clean. Bathroom was clean. The fresh flowers in the room was a nice touch. Free parking was very convenient. The location is also quite convenient just a short drive from the town of Taravao where there are at least 3 good supermarkets and some excellent restaurants. The grounds were well maintained and very quiet overnight with lots of beautiful bird life.
