A beautiful and very clean apartment in a great location right in the heart of the gorgeous little town, and Adam is a fantastic and helpful host.

Fantastic old granary, beautifully renovated to become a very comfortable and characterful guest house. Very clean, warm and comfortable.They don’t do food and normally have an arrangement with a nearby coffeehouse for breakfast. However, as it was off season when I stayed( mid April) the coffeehouse was closed. This wasn’t a problem as there was an excellent alternative one. Also they warn you about noise from the cinema, but although I could hear it, it was quiet and finished about 9pm. Very friendly and helpful owner. Aeroskobing is a very peaceful, charming place too.

We were so happy to stay at this guesthouse for our wedding👰🏻‍♀️💘🤵🏻 Even though the bathroom was shared, everything was super clean. The common area had everything we needed—microwave, kettle, fridge—and was beautifully decorated. Big thanks to our host Adam for all his help. Even though we couldn’t communicate too deeply because of the language barrier, he always showed care with the simplest words, and when he found out we were getting married, he was the first to congratulate us🎉 They even rent out bikes—we got a cargo bike on our wedding day ☺️ Staying here in Ærøskøbing really made our trip complete!

Even though it's shared toilets, which we were a little sceptical about they were very clean and super comfortable and was actually working out very well. Would highly recommend this location.

We stayed in the suite at the Andelen for our wedding and had the most MAGICAL experience. The accommodations were perfect in every way and the hospitality from the owner made us feel right at home. We rented the tandem bicycle on-site and had so much fun exploring the island (and riding it on our wedding day.) The steamer there saved the day (after ours broke), the speaker system was awesome for the jazz radio we played the entire time and the overall beautiful design + functionally of the space worked perfectly for us. Location was perfect...the coming-and-going of the bicycle rental in the backyard made for a lovely balance of gentle liviness and peaceful quietness. We wouldn't change a thing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The place has real character. The host (Andy) has fitted the place out with hand-made furniture and nice little touches all round. We had shared bathrooms which were to a superb standard and always clean, although there was a little bit of a queue in the morning.

The host, Adam was very nice and helpful. The location was great. The layout of the rooms worked well for us.

The property is a kind of rural house. There are some rooms with shared bathroom and toilet, but we choose the luxury apartment with bedrooms on different levels, private bathroom and toilet, with beautiful interiors and views from the windows

“A unique & lovely place”

Really interesting & unique place. We saw a movie in the tiny cinema one night, which was a great experience. Were in our room the following evening while the movie was on & it really wasn’t loud enough to affect us at all. Our host Adam was really charming & very helpful.

“My favourite place on the island of ærø”

Adam went out of his way to accommodate me and it was a very last minute booking. I arrived with a pair of the most disgusting shoes I had ever experienced, and he found me a small place out of the way where I could clean them and let them dry. When I booked a bike rental from him, he sat down with me to figure out what I wanted to see on the bike ride and helped me work out the best path and gave me a good map to use. And because the theater under the hotel is loud and can be hear through the floor, I was given free entrance to see the movie I would have been hearing anyway. The decor was lovely and the outside spaces even better. The position near the center of town but so close to the beach and the trail that goes all around the island was perfect too. I will come back and bring a group of friends to enjoy this lovely little island! Also, a great bonus for a Danish hotel...cold fresh drinking water was readily available and free (a rarity in Denmark, often you have to pay for drinking water there). Bathrooms are shared, but were quite lovely. They were well ventilated and had lots of space, were kept clean, and were well supplied with towels, nice toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. I didn't feel like I was lacking anything. Breakfast was offsite, but Adam made arrangements with a nearby hotel that has a nice little Danish style breakfast buffet and they were able to meet my needs with my different dietary issues. They even baked me a fresh gluten free bun every morning and always offered to bake me a second one if I wanted it.
