“Relaxing, calming and excellent hospitality”

It was really quiet and relaxing, the staff was excellent and went out of their way with some small lovely touches.

The hotel is a delightful Greek property in a quiet little village up above Aegiali, where there is a lovely beach and many cafes, restaurants and shops. Fabulous views especially the sunset. Staff were so lovely and nothing was too much bother. Would definitely stay again

“Wonderful family run hotel, friendly staff, relaxing stay.”

Pool was wonderful, plus the jacuzzi. We were there in early October so the water was very cold, but that's great for me, especially when it is still hot out. Bar outside was very convenient and the food at the restaurant was excellent!

“Beautiful and peaceful landscape and excellent starting point for hikes”

The location is very good for starting your hikes to nearby sights such as Ladaga or Stavros mountain. The view is very nice and picturesque, with Greek villages embedded in the mountains. It is very quiet and peaceful ensuring relaxing nights (and days). The restaurants terrace and poolside are nicely located with nice views. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

“Lovely stay at Vigla”

We had a wonderful stay at Vigla! Would highly recommend it. They were so caring, attentive and helpful with anything we needed. The hotel is located close to local restaurants and has incredible views of the island. It was truly a memorable experience.

Vigla is a family owned hotel. Everyone in this hotel the family and the personnel are doing anything ito make their guests to feel comfortable and enjoy their staying in full. If I visit again Amorgos Vigla Hotel will be definitely my first option to stay

“Excellent stay”

We had an excellent stay in Vigla hotel. From the moment you step through its doors, you’re enveloped in a warm, family-like atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at ease. The staff genuine friendliness and attentive service created a feel of home. The rooms are a nicely decorated and impeccable. The breakfast is a spread of homemade delicacies, grown and made by the different family members - very yummy! Amorgos has beautiful beaches but if you wish to relax , the pool area overlooks the bay - chairs and towels are available. Thank you to the complete staff of Vigla - we had a great time !

“FABOULUS”

The hotel staff was amazing. They helped us to find trips, hikes and hidden beaches we could experience. They were very helpful with everything, and was always nice and friendly to talk to. The cleaning personelle was exceptionally great (never experiences anything like that before). The food in Vigla Resturant was so good that we had to spend 2/3 evenings eating there (Moussaka recommend, recommend), and the view from the restaurant/hotel was beautiful. The pool area is super relaxing and nice, and the athmosphere in general was very relaxing and soothing. Thank you so much. We will be back. (and it doesn't matter that it is a bit away from the city center, you will not regret Vigla).

“Restful stay, in lovely location. Would recommend”

The hotel was very well maintained and clean, comfortable beds, lovely rooms and we had a great view. The location is good , and altho the village is quiet there is a choice of tavernas all with tasty food. The hotel food was also very good. We had a car which was useful to get up and down to the port below. Tho the hotel do provide a taxi service . In the port there’s lots of choice of restaraunts and the beaches are nice.
