Fab, beautifully restored house

It was our second stay on Barbara and Placido’s house, and certanly we’ll come back. They are wanderfull people and they wellcome us like family. It is a home, not a simple house. Thank you, Barbara and Placido!

Everything was amazing, the place was extremely beautiful but most importantly the hosts were divine, with a very beautiful character and extremely friendly. DEFINITELY WILL BE GOING AGAIN!!!

The property was very clean, the kitchen was equipped with everything, parking was available inside the property and the hosts was very kind and to host us.

We pretty much like everything about the property. Starting from very welcoming host who welcomed us with home made meal, even though we have arrived so late (1:00 am), due to delayed flight. It’s a beautiful, quiet place with stunning views all around it. You can definitely relax here throughout the day, whether you enjoy an outdoor meal, cooling yourself down in the in the pool or just sitting down in the garden till late night with the glass of wine. Traditional Sicilian house have everything you may need for your stay, a charming kitchen with the dining area and upstairs bedroom with very comfortable bed. It’s a great location for an expedition to Mount Etna where you can explore beautiful Parco dell'Etna. We would definitely recommend La Tana di Luna to friends and family and we would make this same choice when booking our stay. Special thanks to Barbara who was looking after us, always being available when we need anything, for giving us a lot of advice about local places and for preparing delicious food and deserts. “An absolute gem of a find and bicycle friendly”

Just perfect, if I was to host a property, this is how I would like to do it. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean and well kept, well equipped and private from the main residence. The hosts are super friendly but give you privacy, they cooked me a lovely meal and made sure I had everything I needed, such lovely people. A save place for my bicycle too.

What an amazing place, you can feel a very good vibes and relaxing there . The owners were super nice with us. I recommend this place 100% to take a break and chill weekend. Thanks so much for everything

“Very nice place and amazing hosts”

The location was fantastic and quiet. We stayed in a little home next to the home of our hosts and we parked the car safely in the yard. Out hosts provided us all we needed: fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden, delicious dinners, even morning coffee and gave us all sort of informations abaut local history and places. It was a very pleasant stay and we’ll certanly return

We were greeted by a lovely hoast couple. They treated us as favoured guests with a dinner and Sicilian treats. Upon arrival you are presented with a small house with a relaxing vibe. Also , you get a great view over the valley with a spectacular sunset. The house has all the utilities you might need and the bed was good. We had a very pleasant stay at this place and hats of to you if you are planning to stay in the vicinity of Adrano, and are looking to stay a couple of nights at this place. Its greatly recommend.

Beautiful, well equipped house in a very nice garden. Quiet location with beautiful sunset view. Place is run by very friendly Siccilian couple. We have received a warm welcome with a tasty Sicilian pasta and caprese salad made from tomato and basilico form their garden Highly recommended place. Wish we could have stayed longer then one night.

Barbara and Placido are incredibly generous hosts. The accommodation was spacious with a beautiful Sicilian kitchen, spacious bathroom and upstairs bedroom. Lots of outdoor seating areas.

What a gem ! You want to experience the Sicilian lifestyle you have to try this place . We came with our 5 year old and 2 large dogs and felt like I was staying with family . The place is surrounded by peaceful green landscape yet very accessible to Taormina ( 1hr ) ,Sicilia outlet village ( 50min), Ikea (45 min ) . The host Barbara and Placido just welcomed us with arms and helped us immensely to get around and where always ready to jump in and help us . We could leave the dogs behind at house in their beautiful gated landscape while we went out for the day for which the dogs were in heaven . The place was impeccably clean and beautifully kept , great wifi and all the full amenities … all whilst being 97% self sufficient. Yes they grow all their veggies , solar energy and all . We initially booked one night and ended up staying 5 ! Can’t find words to praise this place any further as you need to experience it to understand the sense of hospitality this place offers . “An authentic Sicilian experience in a car friendly tranquil setting with wonderful hosts”

wonderful friendly and attentive hosts. Very nicely put together self contained apartment in a tranquil rural setting. If you are travelling by car this is a lovely restful stop for a couple of days to explore the Etna region, experience Sicilian life or just relax in the outdoor area and new plunge pool with a 4 minute drive to town for unrivalled pistachio granita beside the castle

Very nice annex to our host's house with all essential equipment. Our hosts supplied fruit, coffee, etc., and even a bottle of wine. Nice garden. Easy to access highway without the need of going through town. No noise from traffic,
