Overview
Just 50 metres from Admont Abbey, Hotel die Traube is located in the centre of Admont. Dating from 1537, it was the first building on the town’s main square. It offers free WiFi and includes a café overlooking the square. All rooms at the Traube Hotel overlook the mountains and feature elegant wooden furniture, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a bathroom. “Great, sweet and simple”
Room and breakfast were amazing. It is on the main street, but there was no traffic during the evening, or even if there was any, we didn't hear it with the windows closed. In the morning we opened windows and it was a bit loud, so it's not ideal location to sleep in long. Check in is simple after working hours with the keybox ready

Exceptional location next door to the abbey. Easy 12 min walk to train. Reception friendly and professional. Room with a view of the alps. So quiet and peaceful. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and linens. Decor tired and carpet probably clean but suffering from so many dreadful stains. Room would be so much improved if it was removed. No bedside power points but just minor points. This was such a lovely property with history and very good value for money with breakfast included Would definitely stay here again

Great location in the center of Admont, close to Gesäuse National Park. The room was simple but clean and perfectly fine for a 2–3 night stay. Breakfast was good with a fairly wide selection.

“Thoroughly enjoyed.”
Staff were friendly and helpful. Surroundings were lovely, especially the grounds of the Benedictine Abbey with its spectacular library.

Lovely receptionist who spoke English very well and was very helpful. Lovely breakfast with breads, cheeses and meats, they also asked if I wanted any eggs which was very nice. Room was spacious and offered lovely views. And it is right next door to Admont Abbey.
