Located 7 km from Rethymnon, Dias Solimar Hotel is only 50 metres from Adelianos Kampos' pebbled beach. Highlights include a tennis court, air-conditioned restaurant and a large freeform pool with sunbathing terrace. The spacious rooms are both stylish and comfortable with en suite bathrooms, bathrobes and slippers, private balconies or terraces and sea views. Each is air conditioned with a flat-panel satellite TV with radio channels. The in-house restaurant specialises in Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine. The bars serve alcoholic beverages, fresh juices, soft drinks, snacks and more. A 5-minute walk will take you to the nearest village is Adele, with shops, restaurants, taverns and clubs. Bus links to Heraklion are a few steps away. “Great stay, good service and welcoming staff. Expected more from the property and rooms.”
Overall, the hotel rooms are clean and spacious. However, they are not maintained well, the bathroom tub is really small and it’s hard to even take a shower. Staff is amazing, very friendly and welcoming, including the cleaning lady. Food was delicious!

Clean,neat hotel . Lovely pool. Food good variety and plenty. Staff helpful and friendly. Location good, across the road from the beach,which is rocky but nice. Bus goes every half hour to Rethymnon, €1.20 per trip. Excellent value for money.

“Would absolutely recommend wished we’d stayed longer”
Great value for money. Excellent facilities and staff were so friendly. Good verity of food always something to eat. Room was basic but everything we needed. Pool was a great size and there was plenty of beds

“I recommend this great place to stay....”
Quite a good three-star hotel. Friendly staff who will gladly advise and help. The food is tasty and varied. The sea near the hotel is not for children, there are many large stones, and the children's pool is deep. There was also not enough playground for children. But if you have a car it's a great place to relax....

“Highly recommended”
All working there people, are so so so nice! Very helpful. Starting from cleaners, reception, kitchen, managers and bar staff they are brilliant!!! They do 110% of work. For first moment didn't except from 3 stars hotel many, but definitely they deserve more stars! Clean rooms and is clean everywhere on shared surfaces. Swimming pool for kids and for older. Fantastic food, very teasty and every day something different, good selection for everyone's. Few drinks to choose (gin, vodka, rum, tequila, brendy ouzo, beer, raki), not many hotels have in allinclusive package, most serving just ouzo, raki and beer. Close to shops, close to beach. Not much of attractions for kids, so if you like peace and quiet, choose this hotel :) Thank you again to all staff from Solimar dias.
