“A wonderful retreat”

We had a memorable time at Koolyangarra Cottage. It is a nicely furnished cottage filled with wonderful collectibles . . We enjoyed the spa ,the books , walks in the quiet neighbourhood and the nearby fields where the horses roam. It is easy for us to take a bus to Sterling as the bus stop is about 200m away. We waited at 11+am and the bus came right on time. As such we were able to take lunch in Sterling and another bus from Sterling to Hahndorf village for shopping . It is also very thoughtful for the host to leave fresh breakfast supplies for us in the fridge .

The property was such a quaint, clean and comfortable cottage. Comfortable beds the electric blankets were a bonus. The spa was great and everything was clean. The pantry and breakfast was wonderful.

What a great “home away from home” this property provided. The breakfast was excellent, beds comfy, decor delightful and the spa was so relaxing and warm. Everything was thought of too. Beautiful gardens, gorgeous horses, not to mention very accommodating and friendly hosts. My daughter loved her hands on horse experience. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean property in a quiet location. Generous, gourmet supplies with a well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds with quality linen. Excellent communication from the owner. We stayed only one night and wished we had stayed longer. I would move in permanently if I could. Will definitely stay at this property again when next in the Adelaide Hills.

Omg its a lil slice of heaven. The produce left for breakfast was so yummy and fresh and the location is just stunning. Bed was so comfy and overall it was just a perfect spot to stay. We will be back.

A quaint and comfy cottage in a stunning location. This is an excellent base for exploring the Adelaide hills, within easy reach of multiple small towns and vineyards. Adelaide is also a relatively short drive away. The owners are extremely welcoming and we appreciated the breakfast supplies which were left for our first morning. The hot tub is a lovely extra touch, perfect for a relaxing evening while enjoying a glass of the local wine.

A lovely location, quiet, everything that we needed was provided. Lovely and cool with the airconditioner going. A warm tub to dip into, refreshed us and cooled us ready to sleep on a very hot day/night!!

Wonderful location, so peaceful. Excellent ‘cottage’ experience with quirky furnishings and authentic styling. All comfort requirements met.

The cottage was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was very peaceful and although the owners were in the cottage next door, you had privacy. The jacuzzi was great and I have to mention how good the shower was too. A nice breakfast was left and complimentary Sparkling wine too. The cottage was located close to local towns and we especially loved the unique cafe/bakery/brewery in Uraidla. Definitely worth a visit. We loved the horses and Mango the cat too.
