This is a beautiful apartment in an 1880s building. The pool area is lovely, even in winter, as you can sit in the sun under the little pergola next to it. The gas fire is cosy. We appreciated being able to bring our dog!

We were not expecting a property of this quality for the price. It was exceptionally well appointed and the host was friendly and obliging in all regards. It was nice to experience suburban Adelaide within walking distance of shops. The private swimming pool and lovely verandah and gardens are a bonus.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation. Booked for 2 nights for wedding preparations. Unfortunately didn't get to use the pool but was just amazing for pre wedding photography. Host was so accommodating. Attention to detail, wine in fridge to purchase and champagne as well In case you forget, can be purchased at a very reasonable price. Absolutely stunning accommodation and i would recommend a stay here.

I was delighted by everything at this property. So tastefully thought about. Rustic old world charm met modern appliances and decor creating a luxurious but homely feel. The location for us was perfect, about mid way between cbd and the hills and a short walk to Foodland, eateries (particularly liked Hispanic Mechanic), bottle store etc. Pete the host is a legend, nothing is too much trouble. Earns its 5 stars, oh so spotless and wonderful value for money in this climate and thank you Pete for that. 10/10 recommend…only regret is we didn’t STA longer.

A beautiful decorated and extremely clean apartment. The bed was very comfortable and all rooms were so Well designed and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. Appreciated the coffee machine and the various coffee pods provided as well as jams and even ice cube maker in the fridge. A good air conditioner and the small outdoor area with table and chairs.

Fantastic location in a quiet leafy area in the inner-southern foothills of Adelaide. The 1880’s property oozes character in every area, and all furniture and fittings are of a high quality. We arrived to find the accommodation as clean as can be, and everything you could need in your home away from home was provided.

A beautiful apartment with a great atmosphere, thoughtful styling and a lovely host. It felt extremely clean and a great alternative to a soulless hotel / motel room. I felt at home immediately and would absolutely book again. Handy to have a 10/10 grocery store (world renowned) a short walk away and a bottle shop. It's a short Uber into town, so if you're looking to be central at all times, it may not be for you, but I enjoyed the calm of being out of the bustle but close enough to get around as needed.

Beautiful decor, fittings, choice of crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle. All done with excellent taste. From lamps to cushions to curtains, just a lovely place to be in. Host was wonderful, very good communication. Easy to walk to WW and parks. Easy to get on main roads to the hills and beaches. I appreciated it was a non smoking property, no bad smells. Great kitchen and bathroom. Very roomy loungeroom. Best place to stay ever.

Peter the host was excellent and very responsive to questions and information and couldn’t be more helpful.

Peter is in the process of renovating this building and from the street view, the property is a little messy. He is certainly renovating with love. Our apartment was clean and beautifully decorated. Prints, bric-a-brac, be careful because those plants are real…. Two reverse cycle air-conditioners for warmth. A well-stocked kitchen except for an empty tea tin.😕 Never mind, the coffee pods were excellent. Quiet and in a great location. The only things we didn’t like… The bathroom was a little small and at the back of the apartment. A long way to walk in the middle of a cold night for a tinkle. The toilet was also in an awkward position. Turning right out of Dawson Street into Fullamore Rd is difficult. Our advice is to go to the other end of Dawson Street, turn right and then turn right at the next street. You are further away from the traffic lights and the traffic doesn’t bank up as much. Parking is on the street yet there are plenty of parks available. Apart from this, we enjoyed our stay and would return. This property is very close to the Haigh’s chocolate factory. 👍🏼 The Woolworths down the road closes at 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. My husband only made it because he ran. We did expect it to close later.
