This recently restored townhouse originally dates from the 18th century and is built in the traditional Canarian style. It is found in the historic village of Adeje. Located a short drive from the beaches of south-west Tenerife, the Fonda Central lies on the slopes which lead up to the magnificent Mount Teide National Park. The traditional village which surrounds the hotel hosts cultural festivities throughout the year, especially around Easter time. Outside the village you can enjoy a fantastic walk in the stunning natural scenery. The hotel has maintained its traditional, rustic style throughout. It opens onto an outdoor terrace where you can soak up the year-round sunshine. It also features a restaurant and cafe where you can enjoy typical Canarian dishes.

“Great Hotel - Testing Location”
Hotel had all you need. It's really quaint and quietly located. Staff were great, breakfast was cooked and very nice. The restaurant food was great as were other restaurants nearby. There were a couple of convenience stores close by as well as a few coffee shops and tapas bars. For those with disabilities the location is in a high street at the top of a big hill. If you wish to see more of the immediate area it's downhill with a decent huff and puff back up. We are not disabled but a kind note for those who struggle physically, the hotel isn't really geared up for wheelchairs and is on several levels with big staircases. No lift. Those who choose the hotel will like it, many paragliders use the facilities and many different nationalities were there when we were. Enjoy 😉

“Very enjoyable for those who seek something different and genuine, would stay again.”
I liked the ambiance of the place ,slightly reminiscent of a parador,dark furniture etc. It's positioning is excellent in the main street full of colour surrounded by bars, restaurants etc. Staff are truly excellent, Dana, Camilla,Gary and one other. They make you truly welcome. I felt truly "looked after".

“Friendly staff and a charming very vintage hotel”
Super friendly staff. Hotel is far away from the tourist traps so it's "old / vintage" style but it's full of charm. Will definitely go back there if I need to go back to Adeje.

the staff were friendly and helpful. it was located centrally. it was lovely and authentic Spanish hotel.
