“Beautiful farmhouse boutique stay”

Beautiful property on a huge citrus orchard and great location for exploring Addo. The property is lovely as well as the staff and dining options were relaxed and enhanced our stay. Game viewing on the private road through Addo to arrive/leave was a bonus. It was very wet when we arrived and they kindly upgraded us to the family room as easier access for our family group so will need to revisit the domes another time.

“Lovely atmosphere”

We enjoyed everything. We got an upgrade because it was quiet! It was very child friendly (we were there with our ten month old), we often got some banana or lemon for our baby during meals, we enjoyed the breakfast (especially the scones and the omelettes), the serene garden setting, the pool, the location, the comfortable beds and pillows and more. The game drive!!

Great property with a big pool in the middle. Lovely houses and guests rooms, good breakfast and dining options. There are nice cocktails served in the evening. The game drive offered in the nearby Addo Elephant Park is very recommendable.

Game Drive with Aubrey was perfect, breakfast excellent, diner menu also.

What’s not to like? An exceptionally beautiful haven, managed and run exceptionally well with smiling, kind and caring staff who always go out of their way to accommodate. Darlington was gracious, welcoming, very helpful and informative. And a super plus was that he showed us the Southern Cross! Finally someone who could explain the southern sky to us - what a bonus! Breakfast encompassed everything you could wish for, our rooms in the domes are an architectural feat, beautiful, roomy, cool, tastefully decorated - and perfectly appointed and clean. I keep coming back - that’s a testimony in itself.

We took the route that goes through the park on our way there. It was so amazing seeing elephants and many other animals on the way.

The lodge was beautiful, the statt great and the service extraordinary good. There is a bit space for improfment left in terms of food. I was exspecting a bit more African kitchen.

Exceptional service from staff, comfortable accommodation in the domes, very welcome aircon, great restaurant food, close to Addo main gate, lovely gardens with beautiful trees, refreshing swimming pool. Would love to return one day!

Great location for visiting Addo Elephant Park, lovely set-up and facilities, staff were super friendly and helpful - in particular, I really enjoyed chatting to Darlington and RiRi. I suggest visiting the park over two days - I visited initially with Stellenhof (which was good to get a sense of the park as I've never visited one before) and then went back the next day and explored different areas.

We loved our accommodation in the unusual domes, which were sparkling clean, spacious and well-equipped for our 3-night stay. The air conditioning was a huge plus. Exceptional service from every single staff member. The teamwork and motivation is very apparent and this benefits the guests. Superb cuisine in the pleasant dining room, especially on New Year's Eve. The kitchen gave us a substantial, tasty packed breakfast for an early morning game drive. Beautiful, tranquil gardens with lovely trees. Conveniently close to the Addo Elephant Park main gate. Would definitely return.

Convenient location only 20mins from Addo main gate but set in beautiful farmland and gardens. Lovely accommodation in “domes”, beautifully appointed and spacious. Large swimming pool surrounded by jacaranda trees. Friendly helpful staff and excellent on site restaurant. Highly recommended !!

“Fantastic stay in a beautiful estate with warm, welcoming and professional staff”

The estate is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in dome 4 which is the most private and has a lovely deck by a pond to sit; we watched a weaver weave his nest over two days. The bed was so comfortable and we slept like babies. The food was delicious, Chef Trisha’s burgers are the best! They were also happy to cater to different dietary needs. Thank you Megan and all the staff for your hospitality, we recommend Stellenhof wholeheartedly and hope to come back one day!

Really good location, close to Addo Elephant Park and charming staff. Take a safari with Aubrey and you won’t be disappointed. He really knows the park well and a trip with him is an absolute must!
