Very convenient location for Addo elephant park and lots of information provide in the property. Stunning peaceful environment with so much birdlife and leaping fish in the lake, We got through the electric gates and our reaction on seeing Klein Plekke was simply 'wow'. Beautiful facilities, with everything you could need provided. Wonderful outdoor and indoor braai, even an air fryer, and everything needed for enjoying the lake. Everything was very clean, the bedrooms were nicely furnished with fresh, calm decor. The bed was so comfy and the bed linen good quality. Nicky also runs the Hopefield Guest House nearby and it was useful to book a beautiful breakfast there on our final morning to enable a prompt and stressless departure.

Nicky and her husband Scott were exceptional hosts. When we got stuck in the mud at dusk with our car. They came and towed us out with 10 minutes! The rusks for the morning coffee were also a lovely add on

One of the best places we stayed during our trip. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. The accommodation is very close to Addo, very comfortable and well-equipped. It's the perfect place to chill and for kids to have fun. They even have small canoes to go on the water. Honestly, amazing all the way, 10/10. Thank you for everything!

Secluded and this means freedom - although one morning at 2am I swore I saw Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (sporting safety jackets and hard hats) spying on us through the reeds with binoculars from the other side of the micro lake! Sunshine the next morning proved it to be a combination of leaves, a fence, a trick of light and imagination, phew!

Living area and kitchen was spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace and the dartboard. It was lovely to come back to a lovely warm bedroom.

Peaceful and stunning living area, not to mention the dam area! The attention to detail and little touches speaks volume of Nicky's hospitality. All the kitchen utensils needed. Wonderful stay.

“Tranquil getaway that exceeds expectations”

This property has everything you can possibly need, and more, for a lovely stay. Close to Addo for some game drive excitement, with inside and outside fireplaces, and the best sunset and sunrise views, it felt like a piece of heaven. Rooms were comfortable, with beautiful extra details to make sure I stay was special and comfortable. I could not recommend Klein Plekkie enough, and plan to visit again soon!!

Lovely accommodation. Very private and quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed. Rooms comfy and clean. Would recommend.

Klein Plekkie is an incredibly beautiful and cozy place to come down. You can be completely at one with nature here in a beautiful secluded spot. It was wonderful to paddle out in a canoe and watch the birdlife. We also loved the beautiful location in the lemon grove. Nicky was an extremely welcoming and lovely hostess. The Addo National Park is easily accessible from here. 10/10
