Overview
De Old Drift Guest Farm is a working citrus farm, located outside the small village of Addo and 15 minutes' drive away from Addo Elephant National Park. It offers an outdoor pool and sun terrace. Every room at De Old Drift Guest Farm features air conditioning, a mini-refrigerator and hot drink facilities. All rooms have a private outdoor seating area, and the guest cottage has full self-catering kitchen facilities. Guests can enjoy a substantial breakfast in the traditional thatched lapa. De Old Drift Guest Farm runs a variety of excursions, including a tour of the Addo Elephant Park with a qualified guide. Port Elizabeth Airport is located a 45-minute drive away. Free on-site car parking is available at the farm.

“A relaxing gateway to Addo Elephant Park”
It was a very nice, peaceful place and we loved our three night stay. The rooms were super clean.amd the staff was very friendly. The place has two lovely dogs and some people might not like that they hang out in the restaurant at dinner time, but we did 😌 Facilities are not very new, but well equipped and comfortable. The pool was always clean. Rooms were silent. The guide who led our safari tour was very nice and knowledgeable. Thank you!

“So great we stayed an extra night!”
We had a studio the first 2 nights - very spacious and equipped with everything you need! And moved to a family twin (a 2 bedroom apartment with a simple kitchenette) for our last night and both were perfect! Very clean, service to an incredibly high standard - De Old Drift feels like a high end boutique lodge! Thank you for a wonderful stay 🌟

Hidden gem 🌟 Fantastic guesthouse close to Addo Elephant Park, secure property with everything you need for a peaceful, comfortable stay. Wonderful, friendly staff, private game drives available, braai facilities at each room, kids play area, lovely lounge and dining area and spa services on site. Also the resident dogs, Millie and Zazu are the sweetest. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely family cottage with ample space for a couple. Wonderful breakfast offering both continental and hot cooked meals. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to the Addo national park main entrance. Restaurants nearby for dinner options.

We had a lovely garden view room and loved watching the birds coming and going to the pond. The pool at the property was beautiful, especially after a hot morning on safari. The breakfast was wonderful

Wow, wow, wow, this stay was everything we expected and even more. The rooms are great, the food is delicious and the service is the best. Would definitely recommend it and if you can, have at least one dinner here. You won’t regret it.

“Luxurious facilities with the best staff”
A great location, close to Addo, shops and a petrol station. It felt safe and secure. Very quiet and perfect for star gazing. The room was spacious and warm. Great braai facilities and private area outside the room.

“Great option for Addo park visitors”
Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious apartment, comfortable beds (which have heating!! Important during cold season). Great game drive with very knowledgeable guide Lize - highly recommend! We also requested a little birthday surprise for my friend so they arranged cake, sparkling wine and some flowers that were waiting in the room on our arrival. Very well organized!

We loved our one night stay at De Old Drift Farm! Communication before arriving was great, check in was fast and welcoming. The room was very clean, comfy and spacious. Dinner was great and they had no problem with cooking us a vegan meal. We also booked a game drive in Addo with our lovely guide Lido who was amazing! Highly recommend :)

I had an amazing stay at this property. The meals provided at an extra cost were exceptional, truly a culinary delight. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The facilities were exceptionally clean and comfortable, making my stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend!
