We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bietjie Rus near Addo National Park. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming – we had great conversations with them and truly enjoyed getting to know them. The breakfast was a real highlight. Fresh, delicious muesli and eggs straight from the farm – you could really taste the quality. Sitting outside for breakfast made it even more special. The whole place has a lovely farm atmosphere, with chickens around and even sheep nearby, which our daughter absolutely loved. It was a beautiful and authentic experience for the whole family. The location is perfect, very close to Addo Elephant National Park, and the hosts gave us many helpful tips for our visit. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a ceiling fan. There is also a nice pool just outside the room. We also appreciated that drinking water was provided. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would definitely come back. A clear recommendation!

Everything. A quite retreat 20km from Addo Elephants Park main gate. An exceptional host,a great farmstyle breakfast in a quiet surroundings. A full 100% score.

Sorita and Andrew are lovely people. They take care of their guests and let them feel welcome on their premises. They have around 60 sheep and 40 chicken. The "old Mc Donald has a farm" vibe is definitely present. This location is around 20 minutes' drive to Addo Park and very convenient.

Beautiful countryside accommodation!. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bietjie Rus. Sorita is an amazing host....very caring and so knowledgeable about the plants and animals at Addo Elephant Park. I went on a game drive and picnic with Sorita and had an indescribable morning. The dogs on the property are absolutely adorable. The hosts Andrew and Sorita make you feel very welcome. The place is very neat. I'm definitely going back. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent. 100% recommended. Dorita is amazing. She helps you in everything she can. She recommended us a restaurant where we had an incredible dinner and, as we were going to Addo, she gave us a lot of nice tips! The room had everything needed. The host was very friendly. Allowed my daughter and her friend to sleep in her lounge as they needed accommodation for the Friday night and there wasnt any. The breakfast was five star. A lovely accommodation. Will defintely be back.

Excellent experience with the hosts and the stay. It's a lovely place with peaceful vibe and very kind people. Also, enjoyed the breakfast from the hosts. Will highly recommend it. We were able to drive to Addo area and also do private reserve wildlife safaris.

Lovely host Sorita make you feel welcome for the fist minute. Safe and quiet area. The property is very charming. You’ll have good company by their lovely dogs.

Our welcome was super kind and we loved beeing at this place! The owners were very friendly and helpful - such as their super sweet dogs :) We got a lot of information about the Addo Elephant Park (how to arrange and where to go) and also did their recommended private game reserve at Schotia - which was awesome!!! We loved our stay there! Not to forget the upgrade on our room which was super kind :)
