Set on a citrus farm on the banks of the Sundays River, Avoca River Cabins offers game drives, 2 outdoor swimming pools, a children’s playground and conference and wedding facilities. The cottages, houses and chalets come with private patios or balconies and views of the Sundays River. Each includes self-catering kitchen facilities or access to a shared kitchen. “Overall somewhat disappointing but would have liked to explore the facilities more thoroughly.”
1. Location (rural riverside) is good. We didn't spend much time there as we were out during the day game viewing so did not explore the facilities extensively. 2. When the office manager saw the composition of our party, he offered us an additional cabin at no extra charge as it was clear we would not be comfortable in the accommodation we had booked. We can only speculate about what would have happened if the additional unit had not been available.

“Charming place to stay, good location and friendly people.”
Not far from Addo Elephant Park.Set amidst citrus plantations. A bit old-fashioned but charming. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very nice breakfast, yoghurt and fresh fruit, homemade lemonade and scrambled egg and bacon.

“Great family getaway”
We visited Addo Elephant Park, so the location of the property was perfect. We were very comfortable in our chalet - it was clean, well equipped and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We felt very secure on the property, and will definitely be back for another stay.
