This was our second visit and this time we got there early to enjoy the place in the evening and sunset. It is a wonderful location, very peaceful and quiet. It is in the middle of a farm with wild life and excellent views surrounding you. There is a viewing balcony which is fun to sit and watch the birds and animals around the property. We saw mongoose in the evening and lots of wild boar in the morning. The amenities are superb. We used the braii area but there is a good kitchen with all the facilities. The accommodation is comfortable and it is well set up. Location is fantastic as it is about 10 minutes drive from Addo South Gate.

This was our second time to stay and we were just as pleased again. Such a tranquil place….a home from home. Everything was spotless inside the house. I just love the viewing platform for the evening sunset. Perfect!

The cottage was well equipped beds were comfortable. The daily visit by the wartogs made it special. Very clean and tidy. Close to the park could even see elephants from the road along the Sundays river

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the most wonderful stay at Addo Park Vista Cottage! The place was spotless, very neat, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. Traveling with a toddler can sometimes be tricky, but they made sure we had everything we needed – even providing a baby bath and high chair. Our kids absolutely loved the big lawn to play on, while we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with the most incredible view. We spotted so many beautiful animals right from the cottage – and even saw a lion, which was unforgettable! The attention to detail and care for their guests truly stood out. We felt so well taken care of and had the best time as a family. We’ll definitely be back again and highly recommend Addo Park Vista Cottage to anyone visiting the area.

Well designed and decorated. Had all necessary appliances and amenities for a comfortable 5 night stay as a base to explore Addo National Park. Good location, however a suitable vehicle for corrugated road driving is required (hosts did make us aware of that). Plenty of space in the house and the garden to be comfortable. The deck is wonderful addition were one can relax and probably catch sightings of animals from the National Park Can accommodate 6 people comfortably. Provision of wood for fireplace was nice.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. We couldn't believe it when we woke up on our first morning to a honeybadger running along the fence line. What an experience, we would highly recommend this place

The cottage is fully equipped for a very comfortable stay in a safe and secure location. The lookout is a fantastic feature at any time with Binoculars you can see the wildlife of Addo. I've previously stayed here in 2018 and 2019 and it's lovely to see the cottage is wonderfully well maintained.
