“Great Location, but a Few Issues”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We started in a King Room and were so comfortable that we decided to upgrade to a larger Junior Suite. The room was very spacious and came with a lovely terrace, a kitchen, and a dining area. Having our breakfast delivered to the room was a great convenience. We also loved the delicious food and the fact that our son could join the drawing sessions every Saturday.

“Social House: A Solid Stay in Ethiopia”

We spent five nights at Social House in a King Room. The bed was indeed extra large, and the room also came with a balcony. While the room size was a little smaller than we had anticipated, we were very pleased with the daily cleaning and room service. The hotel has a restaurant on the ground floor that serves both lunch and dinner, and the food was quite good. We also found plenty of other places to eat in the surrounding area. We were especially impressed with the staff's promptness. When we had a problem with a window not closing properly, the manager immediately sent an employee to fix it, and the issue was resolved right away. Social House offers unbeatable value for money. For the price, the quality of the property and the service you receive are exceptional. It’s truly a great find that provides a high-quality experience without the high price tag. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at Social House. The friendly staff, tasty food, and efficient service made our experience a great one.

The overall hotel area appears nice, with large social space - downstairs bar and terrace, looking like an oasis in the otherwise noisy and unattractive city centre. The room was clean (bedclothes, furniture, floors, bathroom). Hearty breakfast with good selection of dishes, and handy coffee bar with diverse types of drinks.

I liked the staff; they were all kind and ready to help. The location is walkable to the main road and many facilities in the area.

“Exceeded our expectations.”

This is a far nicer guesthouse than we were expecting. Even though the rooms are relatively basic, the building and facilities are very nice and we especially enjoyed the large indoor dining area and outdoor courtyard. We were not expecting the free morning breakfast but it was exceptional and we sampled something different from the menu every morning. -- I am aware that other reviews have expressed disappointments with their stay here, however, our experience superb. The staff especially, from the manager and reception and every single server and cleaning staff were all kind and generous. Thank you all.

“Will not come back”

Hit water, room clean not nice at all, breakfast complicated and unhappy. I have to pay more when I order a drink or food.
