Very friendly, family-run hotel. Excellent and helpful reception staff, superb cleaning. Nice breakfast options (mainly Ethiopian, some ferenji). Electrics are very good, plenty of outlets and charge facilities. Reliable hot water, good plumbing. Good location for many parts of the city. Airport transfer. Taxi / ride hail services easy to reach by the side of the road.

“A gem in the heart of Addis Ababa - the true definition of being attentive to your customer!”
Maraki who is part of the staff and very well spoken (and beautiful if I may add) was so helpful and attentive. They offer airport shuttle, and I was going through a lot at the Addis Ababa airport and she came to pick me up and made sure that I was settled in my hotel room. At 6:30am, she arrived to pick me up to take me back to the airport. She really is a star that one :) The room was nice and spacious; room service is available as well, a fair variety of channels on the local TV, Wifi is good, they offer breakfast, but since I was leaving extra early, I did not have any (but the aroma of the breakfast was already in the air). They also have a concierge who assists with luggage, and check-in/out was relatively easy and seamless. The hotel has a lift with about 4/5 floors (I was on the 2nd floor) - had somewhat of a view of the city.

Everything is extremely perfect. I recommend this place to everyone who came to Addis Ababa to stay here, because the staff is very professional, welcoming, polite and helpful. I have no complaints! Ivy Hotel🤩😍🤩so very beautiful. I enjoyed my stay very much the room is so pretty.

Wonderful Stay at Ivy Hotel, Addis Ababa I had a fantastic experience at Ivy Hotel. The airport shuttle service to and from the hotel was smooth and very convenient. The staff were exceptional, friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall service was excellent. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality and would highly recommend Ivy Hotel to anyone visiting Addis Ababa. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

They cancel our resrvation and didnot inform us before we arrived .when we reach in addis ababa airport and call to ivy hotel calling number but they told us your reservatiin cancel . Because the hotel have some issuse with govt of addis ababa thta why our hotel close now
