Everything was as described a perfect place to stay

“A magnificent time in a very peaceful part of SW France, great location for exploring the Pyrenees.”

The room was spacious & comfortable with french doors opening onto a lovely outdoor area with views of the Pyrenees mountains. Also the garden was gorgeous to explore with chickens and a fish pond, and the friendly resident cats came to visit us each day. There was free secure parking out the front and a fabulous locate restaurant (Le Bistrot de l'Abbaye) in Saint Savin a short drive away.

This is a charming accommodation about 10 km South of Lourdes and with views of the Pyrenees from the balcony. We were met by our host who showed us to our room and explained the features. It had a comfortable bed, good showers and the basics like a kettle and microwave. The views really made the room. In the morning we had a continental breakfast served in the room which was very nice.

The accommodation is in the most beautiful location, surrounded by the Pyrenees. Cecilia, our host, was so lovely and so welcoming. She gave us great information about the area and what to do. The apartment was spotless and the facilities were very good. Cecilia brought a fresh continental breakfast to the apartment each morning.

The studio apartment was spotlessly clean and very quiet. The terrace has a magnificent mountain view. Parking space provided was very convenient. Breakfast was genuine and abundant. Hosts - Cecilia & her husband were very nice and helpful.

We booked one night only as it was to break up a long drive. We wished we had booked two nights as our studio apartment was so comfortable after a log day of driving and hiking ( bed and chairs in particular) Our host Cecilia was the only host in our time away that walked us through each room in the studio, explaining how everything worked. The kitchen is very well resourced with quality and clean appliances and has all you need when self catering. We personally appreciated the toaster in addition to bar fridge, microwave kettle etc. There were numerous power points for recharging laptop/camera/phone etc and wifi was great. The bathroom was spacious and had the softest towels we used whilst away. Secure parking was off road and we enjoyed the lovely garden view from our ground floor terrace where we ate a sumptuous breakfast, provided by our host. We also particularly appreciated the help Cecilia gave us in identifying the correct prefix to use (and more importantly which to cut out) when calling/messaging a local number with an international e sim. She was patient and generous with her time and made sure I could actually call her mobile, as this had not worked previously and I was anxious if I needed to call the car rental company in addition to any accommodation. Our only suggestion would be to advise guests that the next door neighbour to the right( facing the property) has the same street number, so our gps took us there.

Cécile's attention, kindness, and hospitality are incredible. The accommodation overflows with care and warmth. The breakfast, simply spectacular, exceeded all expectations. The small mini-garage for bicycles was a great help for our cycling trip. Everything was exceptional, thank you, Cécile!

One of the best possible B&Bs we could have wished for. We booked for one night but stayed three. The studio is very comfortable and of high standard. So is the peaceful garden. The breakfast was what you can expect in France. Excellent! The location is great because you can visit major sightseeing locations within 45 min drive. The owners are helpful and great in communication. I am not lying when I say we would stay here again (we booked the extra days, did we not)

Breakfast brought to you room, with a balcony with mountain views, comfy room, fridge, microwave, lovely shower and hot water, parking, couldn't really ask for more. Great location for days out too

The owner was very timely and responsive to our questions, a lovely view from our balcony over the garden, particularly enjoyed the full breakfast delivered by the owner first thing in the morning.

Le balcon des cimes is really well located for hiking in the area. This is the main attraction. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the fridge and other utensils made it possible to prepare small meals as an alternative to going out, after a long day hiking. There was a nice small terrace to sit at for breakfast and in the evening. Cecilia was a very good host and provided lovely breakfasts each morning and also advice on where to eat and things to do. Thank you!

“The perfect example of an amazing stay, can't recommend enough!”

Firstly, we were greeted by an amazingly friendly host who explained and walked us through everything and was very helpful throughout the stay, nothing was too much to ask. The property itself, was very clean and looked newly refurbished. Had very nice little touches throughout and really made us feel welcome and relaxed. The bed was extra comfy too and we LOVED the bathroom! The room we stayed in had a nice balcony which looked out on to the garden, which was beautifully maintained and provided facilities to barbecue and sit out in the garden if one wanted to. The views around the property were also beautiful and made the place feel that much more peaceful, even though it was only a few minues drive from the town and in close proximity to Lourdes. Parking was on the property grounds and securely gated over night. The breakfast was included and absolutely amazing, loved every bite! We absolutely loved our stay, it's amazing value for money! Having travelled around France for 2 weeks and staying in various places,this one has been by far the best and we would come back time and time again!
