“Fantastic staff but very noisy”

Staff were super friendly, gave us cakes on arrival and breakfast was great. Really close to the start meaning no need to organise transport

Staff were excellent here. We came just before high season so it was quiet. We woke up at 2am to do Adams Peake at sunrise and we were made complimentary tea before. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot! Mosquito net too. Really great value for money. Super close to the start of Adam's Peake. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The whole family works amazingly hard to make sure you enjoy your stay and that you have everything you need for your Adam’s peak hike. The owner runs also very sustainable tour in secret places away from the tourists.

“perfect in every sense for the hiker”

Can’t be grateful enough for choosing Vinish Inn. Really. If you are planning to hike Sri Pada, this is really the perfect place to start with. First, it’s close to the steps as much as it is just possible. But most important: Isirindu welcomed us at the doorstep as we wrote when we can be expected to arrive. Welcomed us with tea and cookies, and even without requesting he spent quite a time to explain and help to prepare for the hike! He definitely knows all that can be known, and also he is super cool! He truly wants you to have everything that is possible, and to have a nice stay and hike. The room was silent and clean, it was easy to fall asleep in time:) And… he waited us to get down from the top, and freshly prepared the hugest breakfast you can imagine. Guess what, we took it all, and still can’t be grateful enough how he was really interested in our experience. For traveling along, upon our previous request he organised a great car already to our next destination and thanks to the whole link he was moving, even under the given circumstances (not much fuel around) we did feel nothing about the stress, or whatever, and got to our new place on time! (Even he talked with the driver to stop at some really nice viewpoints, extra one for that!) Really hope to meet again at some time! Thank you very much:)

Very friendly family. Spoke very good English. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Excellent location for climbing Adams Peak. Warm shower. Mosquito net.

Really friendly and welcoming staff. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Only a 10 minute walk from Adams Peak trail start and an option for midnight snack if you're aiming to climb for sunrise. Couldn't recommend this place more to anyone climbing Adams peak.

“Good stay”

We stayed only one night in this accommodation before hike to Adams Peak and it fullfilled our expectations. The room itself was basic, many mosquitos but mosquito net saved us. Is next to road so sleep before midnight hike was kinf of hard. The owner was very nice guy, welcomed us with tea and cookies and gave us all important information about the place. Breakfast was very good (good breakfast was our main focus when picking the accommodation in Nallathanya). Worth the price for one night and thanks to hotel owners we felt good there.

Only the wifi is slow enough. The location is very convenient and feeling good in the room. Easy to walk to lots of markets and Adam's Peak, you don't need a tuk tuk and there are buses very close. The lunch and dinner foods are delicious. All are food, great value for money but not the same price in the restaurant. The staff like as family is very nice and he helped her great!

the staff where so nice and friendly and always made sure we did well, we got a massive breakfast when we came down from Adam’s peak. the location was good ok clean and in general a very good budget hotel. would recommend if you travel on a budget!
