- perfect location to climb Adam’s Peak - friendly host & nice food

“Magical !!”

This guesthouse is a piece of gem near the sacred mountain of Adams Peak. The host is a beautiful family. The food is homemade, the tour to the waterfall was magical, and the mountain is just minutes away from the guesthouse. I walked alone in the mountain, and the distance at night to reach the stairs was close by. I met some amazing traveler along the way in that beautiful hugging cloud Guesthouse. THANK YOU .

“Great location, but not value for money.”

The location was great for doing Adams Peak walk, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal area was large with great views and our breakfast was delicious and huge, which is just what you need after the walk.

The views were amazing and the staff were kind and helpful. Really great food prepared fresh! Rooms were basic but clean.

The owners were lovely and very accommodating. The location was perfect for climbing Sri Pada/Adams Peak - the start of the trail was really just 2 minutes away so was great when we finished and were ready for a rest and some food we were already right back at our accommodation. The accommodation also has a nice spot in the restaurant where you can relax and read your book and there is a lovely roof top with a great view :)

“Cosy guesthouse with good vibe”

This cosy guesthouse is located within the town centre and only shortly away from the trailhead for the hike up to Sri Pada (Adam's Peak). We enjoyed a warm welcome and a quick check-in. The freshly prepared breakfast and dinner were very good. All in all, there was a really good vibe in the guesthouse with the cosy rooms, very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly family team as well as the dining area with views of the mountains + a lounge feeling. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained with a mountain view from the balcony. Hot water was provided instantly and safely. In the room is a cattle to prepare tea as a perfect start into your early morning hike up to Sri Pada

“Quite a lot of mosquitoes in the room because lack of mosquitoes net. Good price”

Breakfast is good. Good price .I had introduction to Adam’s Peak by the host when check in which is helpful.

The staff was super nice, helpful and accomodating. The location is superb - not far from the entry to the departure point to Sri Pada. Breakfast was plenty and the monkeys around have the most peculiar hairdo.

Beautiful views from the rooftop of this nicely located hotel close to the foot of Adam's Peak. The staff is very helpful and friendly, arranging for tuk-tuk rides or bicycles for the duration of the stay.

Nice people and food was good, 10min walk from Adam’s Peak trail.

Very big and spacious room with quite comfortable beds and a convenient table to drink tea at. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the temperature at night was comfortable. There is restaurant at the hotel with very good prices and generous portions. Very close to Adam’s Peak.

Great breakfast. Very sweet local family -owned place. Nice views from the balcony.The rooms are basic but clean (except from the bed linen) and with hot(ish)) shower

“Simply the best experience in Sri Lanka!”

Three things: 1 the location. The surroundings of Nallathanniya are extremely beautiful, and very easy to discover. Especially with the very kind help of the owners of Hughing Clouds. We saw places we couldn’t dream of seeing in real life. 2 the owners and staff. Só welcoming and helpful. We learned a lot from them about the surrounding and had fun as well. 3 the food. The chef makes really tasty Sri Lankan food. I’m afraid I gained 3 pounds in 3 days! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
