Worst visit ever. Came to the hotel but host failed to check me in because he was not answering any calls or responding despite being in the property itself. I informed booking.com team and they attempted to contact the host too which failed and in the end booking.com team themselves cancelled the reservation and offered new accommodation for me. This was all done officially by booking.com team. Would never stay at this place or even recon this place to anyone. Only decent thing was the butler who was understanding about the whole situation.

“The best located guesthouse for Adam’s Peak”

Green House is in the perfect location, directly at the start of the trail for Adam’s peak. Shri is also the most welcoming, friendly and helpful host - he really made my stay here feel special. The rooms are clean and comfortable and perfect for my one night before going up to the peak for sunrise. I highly recommend!

“Constantly drunk owner”

The owner, although helpful, was constantly drunk, so it was difficult to communicate. I gave him money, and an hour later he forgot about it (because he was drunk), so I had to remind him and prove it. Bad internet. Not a single properly working shower with warm water, so a bucket was offered... If the owner drank less and took care of business more, the situation would be better :)

“A peaceful stay with a wonderful host who made our trip unforgettable.”

The host Shri was incredibly kind and welcoming. He even showed us the best places in the area – we had such a great day including ziplining, rafting, and visiting a beautiful waterfall with an infinity pool. It’s also the perfect place to start the hike. The place itself was very peaceful, clean, and comfortable. Whenever we had a question, Shri was always happy to help. A very warm and personal atmosphere – perfect for backpackers but also great for guests of any age. See you again!

Great location just 50m from start of hike to Adam's Peak. Friendly host who gave tips on possible places of interest to explore in tea plantation after our arrival to hostel. Dinner is available with extra payment, convenience as then no need to go to town to look search for dinner.

“Convienient Stay for Hiking Sri Pada (Adam's Peak)”

Green House is set in a quiet, natural environment and is conveniently located very close to the Hatton trail leading to Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak). The room was basic and small but had a bed, table and chair. The room was reasonably clean. Shared amenities include toilets and shower areas and there is a shared dining table available for guests too. Sri Ram was friendly, welcoming and informative. Staff were helpful and served a lovely breakfast. I was able to hike Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak) via the Hatton trail during my stay here.

The host was very kind and explained everything about Sripada in detail, always checking to see if I needed anything
