We were a party of 4 and stayed 6 nights. The property has everything: Comfortable furniture, appliances, spacious garden and conservatory, easy parking. Excellent instructions and kind communication with owners. We came to Stafford area to visit family and also toured up North (Peak District), shopped in Telford, Stafford, Birmingham, walked in Shugborough, had pub lunch & drinks, and we cooked. It was a perfect base for us.

The location for us was perfect. Lovely village vibe with a scenic canal walk to Penkridge. The property had a very peaceful feel and was very relaxing throughout our stay. All the little details were appreciated, such as coffee, biscuits, and hand wash, and it was very clean and spotless throughout. Everyone had a great sleep, very comfortable beds. Very quiet residential village, large property throughout, and large garden with seating and conservatory for more additional seating. Downstairs toilet, plus upstairs bathroom/toilet and en-suite shower and toilet. Fresh supply of towels. All mod cons in the kitchen and a lovely large size work area /storage and kitchen seating leading to separate dining room. This is a little gem of a property, and we can highly recommend it. Finally, we thank Melvyn and Jenny for their hospitality and welcoming us to their wonderful property. We will be back again on a regular basis.
