Such a lovely place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome by Iryna and her family. The accommodation was absolutely gorgeous. We loved it.

Everything! Iryna and her mum were amazing hosts. We were welcomed to the apartment with homemade biscuits, cakes and cannoli. Delicious! Impeccably clean with all the amenities that you need. We had all the space for us and our friends. (recommended by us) Definitely a return to Sicily and to stay at Iryna's place.

Host was there on arrival even though we were late. Gave a guided tour of the facilities and supplied us with information from supermarkets, restaurants and places to visit. During one visit away from property guided us to another location which enhanced our experience of Sicily. We would never have thought of going there apart from her suggestion. With family on site we were treated to fresh bakery goods( Breakfast), Fruit straight off the tree and assistance whenever we needed it.

Nestled amongst olive groves in the hills of Acquedolci is the charming compound of Relais Cartolari. When you step in to the apartment you feel like you’re stepping back in time. The apartments have been decorated and furnished with detail to accentuate the Sicilian countryside heritage of the building. The apartment has everything you need to cook a meal and then eat on the terrace. The terraces and swimming pool have stunning and breathtaking views of the sea and Aeolian islands. The swimming pool was refreshing to swim in whilst admiring the views and the peaceful tranquility of the property. The wonderful host Iryna takes care of her guests and property with the utmost care, kindness and thought. Nearly every day Iryna’s mother brought us olives, cakes, biscuits or cannoli - fantastic! They also make their own olive oil which is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Iryna can recommend the best places to eat or for certain foods (arancini, pastries or pizza and seafood etc) and goes above and beyond to look after her guests and help make their stay memorable. I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot but also in Sicily and this is one of the most spectacular places I’ve stayed at. I recommend this property without a doubt!
