“Great owners, shame about booking.com”

Through booking.com we reserved a 2 bedroom property. When we arrived we discovered that booking.com had mis-sold the property, there was only one bedroom. The owners were brilliant. They understood our situation, we each shared what booking.com had told us was booked and we could see that the two pieces of information were different. I wrote to booking.com about this but they don't seem concerned enough to respond. Shame on booking.com. We found somewhere else to stay at short notice but even then the owners tried to help by offering us a second additional property for just the cost of cleaning. Owners like this deserve to be better treated by booking.com than this and I can only speak highly of the support and understanding shown by the owners.

A wonderful stay! The owner and host we incredibly kind and accommodating—we needed to change our reservation, and they helped without hesitation. Despite the bad weather, we still had a lovely experience. The farm is beautifully secluded, offering a peaceful retreat, and they produce excellent honey and wine. Highly recommended for those looking for a quiet getaway!

Very nice country house and the sights from the hilltop (especially during sunset) were amazing and we met some curious horses and a very vocal cat and in the morning a small rabbit as well.

“A true farm stay experience”

Massimo and his family were so warm and welcoming. They made us two of the best meals of our entire trip in Italy - with wine, olive oil and produce made at their farm. We are both gluten and dairy intolerant, and not only were they able to accommodate us, but they went any above and beyond. We were overwhelmed by the incredible hospitality we received and felt like royalty in their home. The apartment was simple, rustic and charming in the best way. The location is peaceful and has an amazing view.

Karim is a wonderful host. He picked us up stranded on the side of the road when we were too tired to keep cycling. He has a great personality. His farm is charming and full of character. His homemade produce and recipes are wonderful.

“Quiet and beautiful place to escape from city pace”

The location is beautiful, amazing view over the olive trees and hills. The apartment has a very typical style for this area which is adorable. It also has a fireplace that makes it extremely cozy.

We stayed at Le Roghete for a night and we were more than satisfied with our stay! The owner of the place Massimo was really nice and friendly, he did everything for us to feel good. We were served an AMAZING dinner that was 100% composed of local products, that are produced at their own farm or other farms nearby. The portions were enormous and the quality and the taste - 10 out of 10. Agriturismo itself is really beautiful, the view from the hills is stunning. We had a super cosy apartment that was equipped with EVERYTHING you could need, there was also a fire place that created an amazing atmosphere for our evening in the countryside. Highly recommend the place and to meet Massimo! Before leaving we bought oil and honey that he produces at his farm. Amazing place, amazing owner, amazing experience!

A great place to rest and get to know Tuscan Italy. Extra views and very tasty home-made food. Mega friendly hosts Sara and Massimo. If we traveled by car, we would certainly buy wine and other products produced by the farm.

“Agriturismo with a local soul”

We only stayed for one night at Le Roghete, but it was the most authentic agriturismo during our stay in Italy and we had an amazing night. Even though there were some language barriers as we don’t speak Italian and Massimo doesn’t speak English, he was the most warm and friendly host. There is a beautiful view from the terraces with olive groves and hills everywhere - a perfect place to enjoy the sunset. As the evening went on the moon also came up behind the hills - beautiful! Massimo cooked us the best local meal of several courses made on homegrown vegetables, homemade pasta, oil, honey and wine. And the rest of the ingredients were from the area. When we couldn’t eat it all, he wrapped it for us to bring on our journey the next day. We ended up buying a lot of the products to bring home.
