A very warm welcome from Johnny who also helped me bring my bags to my room. Lee the owner was also very friendly and welcoming. Being a small town they also run a very handle shop for the pub selling basics. Overall they could do enough for me and I was very happy with my stay.

“Lovely room and friendly staff”
Really friendly welcome by the owner. We were allowed to eat fish and chips from next door in the pub using plates and cutlery from our room. Juice, milk and cereal for breakfast in the room. Very quiet location and no noise from the pub.

The Queens Head is a traditional pub with rooms. All the staff were friendly and helpful , Rooms were clean and had good selection of breakfast items for the guest

“Friendly and comfortable.”
It has a nice, friendly bar that is popular with the locals. A good range of draft beers and draft cider. My room was very comfortable with an en-suite bath, sink and loo. It had a telly and the WiFi was great so I watched Amazon Prime Video.

The staff were very welcoming. They were always ready to help. They worked hard to make sure that all guests can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of there fine historic place!!!
