“Great place to stay”
Our host had thought of everything we would need to make this stay a home from home. Lovely cake on our arrival. Very warm and cozy cottage with a fantastic wood burner. The beds were very comfortable and a lovely walk in shower. The property is very well situated for beautiful walks around the area and Hexham is roughly 1 mile away, which was well worth visiting. this cottage is a fantastic place to stay.

“Atte Combe Cottage was everything we had hoped for - and more.”
Great location, beautiful cottage with a lovely garden. Angela, the host, had thoughtfully left us a delicious cake, some milk, tea and coffee, which was much appreciated after a long journey. The cottage was very comfortable, beautifully presented and very clean.The shower was excellent. The location was fabulous, in a super village, close to the amenities of Hexham and near to Hadrian's Wall.

“A great stay in a lovely cottage!”
A lovely cottage, and very well equipped. The town is quiet, and yet close to Hexham. The host made us feel very welcome. We spent Christmas here, and the cottage was pretty decorated. I am very picky about cleanliness, but the cottage was spotless. A great place to stay if you want to see Northumberland or the Lake District. You can have lovely walks straight from the cottage. If i return to Northumberland, i will definitely stay here again. A home from home!

“A delight! Would certainly recommend.”
Quality bedding and towels, everything sparkling, clean and comfortable. Welcome pack included home made cake, juice and milk with a fire already laid … welcome indeed after a long journey.
