“Great stay some great walks and the view”

Great location, and brilliant view. Big bonus was seeing the Pine Martens.

Lovely location

A lovely spacious and comfortable bungalow with everything we needed. Great view from the sitting room of Beinn Eighe but also of all the little birds which came to feed. A great location for hiking. I'd definitely like to come back.

The location was amazing. The views over to Beinn Eighe through the huge lounge window were great. A good path up to Beinn Eighe started next to the property. There were always a large number of birds on the feeders and pine martens visited at night. -I had a trail camera! The property has plenty of space. There are 3 bedrooms although we only used one of them. It has everything you will need. There is a shop in the village at the petrol station although I did see a number of supermarket vans delivering. Torridon is a short drive away and Gairloch is not too far.

Superbly located cottage close to Kinlochewe.Good value and very comfortable. Packed with useful maps and books,DVDs and games to amuse you if the weather isn’t so kind.Lovely café,stores,pub,petrol station all on the doorstep.But the choice of outstanding walks is second to none and the picture window breathtaking with the added bonus of visits from wild birds and pine martens!

Location and a lovely property to stay in. Amazing views and wildlife.

Magnificent location at the foot of Beinn Eighe on the road over to spectacular Glen Torridon. Close too to the facilities of Kinlochewe and majestic Loch Maree. Comfortable and peaceful cottage. Liked the all the Highland photos on the walls and the local books provided (nice change from mass-produced stags-and-tartan decor and shelves of bleak-looking crime-novels!). Communication from Will, the host, was very good.

The view from the house is amazing and it's very close to some beautiful walks. We had a very comfortable stay, it's warm, spacious and with well-equipped kitchen. Would definitely return.

Lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the beautiful local area. Well placed for visiting Torridon/Shieldaig or Gairloch/Poolewe in the opposite direction. If you’re a hiker or hillwalker it’s superb, or if you’re having a chilled break and doing some sightseeing it’s also perfect. Amazing views from the living room window, visits from the house martens were a particular highlight. The property is excellently equipped, nice and clean with helpful guides and literature from the host. Communication from the host pre stay was spot on. We had an amazing stay and would happily return.
