Boasting a peaceful location 350 metres away from the pebbled Achla Beach, Onar is a complex of independent units built with respect to the Cycladic style. It includes a restaurant with a charming stone-paved courtyard shaded by lush plane trees. The air-conditioned cottages and villas are built with local stone and wood, and feature earthy tones and minimal furnishings. Each with a kitchen or kitchenette and a living area with fireplace, they come with a flat-screen TV and DVD player. In the bathroom, you will find Apivita toiletries. Onar Restaurant prepares traditional recipes from Andros made with seasonal organic products, fresh fish and local dairy, which you can enjoy in the large monastery table. The surrounding area is ideal for outdoor activities such as diving and hiking, while yoga sessions can also be arranged upon request. Gavrio Port is 35 km away and the main town of Andros is at 25 km. Free private parking is available on site.

“Absolutely Magical! We will return time and time again”
This is such a special property! The hidden valley and private beach is simply magical. You leave the main road down a dirt track for 40 mins and reach paradise. There are wild goats, sheep, lovely cats and the sounds of nothing but nature. The views are stunning. The staff are amazing, they treat you like family and cannot do enough for you - thanks for everything Matteo and Angelo. No ask was too much. They went above and beyond to accommodate our toddler at meal times and provide activities for us. On one day the beach was too cold and the pool was not available but they gave us access to a private villa pool so our daughter could swim. They even kept in touch after we left to offer recommendations for restaurants and beaches near our next location. It’s my only sadness we didn’t book to stay longer.
