A cosy little pod, compact and great for a night at the peaceful coastal setting. The pod also has a very good shower with great water pressure. There's a short walk down to the beach too. 🙂

Very remote, need to pack everything beforehand; but beautiful location upon reaching. You can take a stroll around the beach nearby.

The hut was so warm, cosy and welcoming. We impressed by the facilities provided inside - especially the shower which could have lifted the skin off you it was that powerful! The views took our breath away in the morning when the skies cleared and the clouds lifted - honestly, out of this world.

Excellent location with beautiful views across the water towards the Summer Isles. The pod was warm, cosy and surprisingly snug, even in changeable Highland weather. It provided a comfortable and practical base for exploring the area and was similar in concept to pods that we have enjoyed elsewhere. The bed was comfortable and the shower was exceptionally good, with excellent water pressure. The kitchenette facilities within the pod were useful, and access to the hostel’s very well-equipped communal kitchen was an added bonus. The manager was friendly and welcoming, and happy to share local knowledge and recommendations. The whole site had a peaceful atmosphere and was a lovely place to relax after a day’s walking and sightseeing.

The shepherd hut was clean & the beds were comfortable with fresh laundry & good pillows. We were blessed with stunning weather & the setting was stunningly beautiful. The managers were friendly & helpful. The common areas were clean & well equipped. Great place to stay!

Ruth was the main host in the hostel, she & her staff were very hospitable and helpful. Despite the late arrival, they were accommodating and shared their food. The location was very scenic and had an excellent view and feel. The Stream running closeby added a very authentic outlook to the highland trip

Location was amazing with loch views. A clean, comfortable pod with necessary amenities. The walk to the pod was straightforward and made easier with the wheelbarrows. Access to a kitchen if needed a short walk away in the main building. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
