“What an amazing place to stay”

What a phenomenal place to stay, communication was wonderful, the house is amazing and that view, wow! Honestly the best place I have ever stayed anywhere. Everything provided to help out on your arrival too. I am certainly returning as soon as I can.

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights at Minaun Cliff View, we simply couldn’t fault it. It was within walking/driving distance of everything we needed to see and do, nothing out of reach. Coming back to the house which was comfy, clean and extremely quiet was the biggest luxury after a busy day. Jack greeted us with the nicest smile and checked with us that we had everything we needed before we settled in. Additionally Jack and Fiona providing us with a gift basket fit with; milk, butter, crisps, chocolate, cereal and more- made us feel so welcomed and comfortable after a long trip up to Achill. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for everything Fiona and Jack :)

“A perfect stay, location, view, and host”

A perfect stay and host, who both exceeded our expectations. We expected a nice house in the westernmost part of Achill Island with a nice view. We received a wonderful house, already warm for us (it was cold that day), with all the modern amenities we need, but maintaining its rural and authentic character, and with breathtaking views of the cliffs. Bonus, it is right next to the Slievemore deserted village, which is a historical site, and has some great tours and hikes! We expected a nice host, as the Irish are the most kind-hearted people in the world. We were received by wonderful hosts, milk and butter, and cookies waiting for us, checking in to see if everything's ok, and taking the best care of us. Thank you, we will do our best to be back!

A fabulous home away from home. We loved Minaun Cliff View. The hosts have considered everything you may need, and more. Lovely welcome basket of treats, cosy towels, blankets, lovely little touches throughout the apartment. Amazing views. Spotlessly clean. We would love to have been able to stay longer than 2 nights. Hope to return another time!

“A peaceful relaxing stay in a gorgeous setting.”

Jack and Fiona were very welcoming, and I honestly felt like it was a home away from home, for the two nights I stayed there. They gave me a beautiful welcome baskets full of goodies, and use of their laundry facilities. The unit was extremely clean and very comfortable. I left very so relaxed and refreshed.

“Superb Accommodation u”

For my short stay - arrival late evening and departed around 5am, I cannot fault anything. The accommodation was warm, cosy, with every comfort of home, from the milk left in the fridge to the cereals /energy bars/crisps /etc... All mod cons provided in the kitchen, small stove in the sitting room, multi channel TV and a view to die for. Towels were provided and the water was hot, electric shower. Lovely and peaceful, highly recommended from here. I will be back for a longer stay.

“Perfect home away from home!”

We had a wonderful week at Minaun Cliff View. The apartment is very well equipped, very clean and comfy. The view is gorgeous and Fiona and Jack, our hosts, were super kind, always ready to help out and give travel tips. They even had put some food for us there and offered that we could use the washing machine. The bed and couch/armchairs were great, there were lots of lovely decorative details in the apartment and we even found a hairdryer, ironing board and UK charging adapter. Would recommend this to anyone who would love to explore beautiful Achill Island with all its sheep, coastal views and hiking trails!

Amazing place. The accomodation was spotlessly clean, very cocooning with as amazing view!!! It is the best location to visit Archill island ! We also really appreciated the weleome box and the provisions in the fridge! We had the opportunity to have a lovely welcome from Jack who also provided some history regarding the the village.
