We literally fell in love. The “no-nonsense” and non-contact check in was appreciated, it made it feel like it was all actually ours for the week. It was Stag season and we were surrounded by wild deer. The cabin was super clean with everything you can need and more. We had no neighbours and felt like the only ones on the volcano. From here we left the car parked and hiked, ran and cycled everywhere. I don’t recommend this place to anyone…….. simply so we can have it for ourselves 😉 Thanks to the team who put so much hard work into creating and maintaining this sweet business. We’ll be back. 👌

“Perfect escape”

Wow! What a truly remarkable place to stay and in such wonderful accommodation. Peaceful. Picturesque. Wildlife all around. Red deer on show from the cabin. Buzzards. Hedgehog. Meadow Pippits. Stonechat. Tawny Owl. And, after travelling around hoping to see an eagle, a white tailed eagle flew across the volcano in front of us. What an amazing sight. We stayed in Katie cabin and were so cosy and comfortable. Cabin is well designed, pristine, convenient and very well equipped. We took camping chairs and spent every evening sitting on the sheltered porch watching the red deer and anything else that happened like the wild weather, the sunshine and stars. Sanna beach just a few minutes drive - a photo linked to this review - all other photos were taken from Volcano Cabins. Just sit back and wait for the wildlife to come to you.

“Amazing place to stay in Ardnamurchan Peninsula”

Very efficient and luxurious pods, with towel heaters even in a pod. Great layout and design, you can see Deer from the pod and it is amazingly silent. If you stay here do visit Tobermory on Mull as well.

“VOLCANO CABINS ANAZING”

The cabin was spotless , comfortable and a great location being so close to Sanna beach. The views of the volcano from the cabin were fantastic- We enjoyed seeing a variety of wildlife.

“A fantastic place in a magical area”

Fantastic location. A short walk down to the beautiful Sanna beach and walks beyond. We really loved being in the area and all the walks. The walk to the lighthouse is lovely and the tour at the lighthouse is very good as is the coffee in the cafe. The Puffin cafe in Kilchoan is a little gem and also does great coffee. We had a meal at the Mingary Castle which was also good and is hidden inside the castle. The cabin was very cosy, the shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great stay and would happily return.

We had an outstanding trip to the cabin on Ardrnamurchan. Simply glorious views, we particularly loved Sanna beach literally minutes from the cabin. Highly recommend indeed.

Stunning location, in the crater of an ancient volcano. Beautiful views in every direction. The cabin was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfy and cozy.

- Location is superb for the nearby beaches (Sanna is spectacular), lighthouse, etc. Kilchoan with a coffee shop, grocery shop, ferry port and pub is also not far (10 mins in car). - The aspect of being inside an extinct volcano was fascinating for our little one. - Deer grazing outside the door. - Quality cabins, good compact, fully equipped kitchen. - Ardnamurchan peninsula is great in general if you like to get away from the crowds 😁
