The whole staffs were so professional! They beat my expectations. Frankly, I have never been to a hotel or hospitality settings with such high quality customer service. Keep the standard guys.

“Hell”

I was in a building site, banging and crashing all day. When you step out you are hit by the dust trapped under 11 stories of roof to swirl. I did not think the se lion under construction would be open or where a guest would be put. I belong to the gym here, I've used this hotel in its past iteration many times. The staff were great, the amenities are great. But the room location was hell.

“Seen its heyday but gorgeous grounds”

We were looking forward to staying here as a treat. However the hotel has really seen its heyday. There are huge and much needed renovations going on at the moment but there was no warning of this. The site is extremely secure but I was more worried about hanging wires, unclean toilets and cracked windows! The staff were helpful and friendly but always expected a tip which does become tedious. There are a huge amount of surplus staff who will jump in to press the lift button, hold a door open, push your luggage that you’re already pushing, give you directions, pull a chair out. All very nice but they expect money for it!! Every time you put your luggage through the x-ray, the guard sitting down asks for a tip! The grounds are stunning and are its saving grace though it isn’t overly easy to access them due to the renovations e.g. you can’t walk from your room to the pool in your swimming gear! The breakfast buffet and Sunday brunch were also exceptional so if you can ignore the room standard, it doesn’t still makes for a great stay. It’s very centrally located but it’s unwise to venture outside the grounds without a car. There is definitely better in Abuja at the moment.

Liked the beautiful views from and within the hotel. The food was also excellent, with a good variety and great taste.

Room was spacious, recently remodeled, bed very comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast was good and with a variety of options
