Very pleased with help provided by owner. Due to flight delays Ashraf was able to provide me with an extra night stay . He was also very helpful with a special request I made. I needed to visit the border with Sudan , and he made arrangements with a driver and police clearance to do so. Meals are offered on site if requested. Breakfast approx 400 EGP and dinner 600 - 700 EGP. Food was delicious with large portions. Ashraf was also kind enough to change some money for me. Owners will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Do not be afraid to ask if you need something special.

We really loved this place ! It was calm and confortable. We had one of the best meal of our stay in Egypt and don't miss the breakfast with the best falafel we had ! The owner was very welcoming and gave us a lot of advice to enjoy our night in Abu Simbel.

Super friendly hosts! We ordered the fish for dinner which was amazing and really big portions! Can only advise to stay here and try the fish. The owner arranged us tickets for the sound & light show without extra fee. Also the breakfast in the morning was so tasty.

What a great host! We stayed in Ashraf’s home really. Had home cooked dinner and breakfast which were among the best meals of our whole Egypt trip. Ashraf also made immaculate arrangements re:our amazing sunrise boat ride and return transfer to Aswan by car. If you’re going to Abu Simbel, you cannot go wrong with Osiris Guest House.

The guest house is in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of tourism, and so close to the Nile! It affords a breathtaking view of the great river in its very backyard, from where our very gracious host Ashraf took us to the Abu Simbel Temple on a boat ride. In fact, that boat ride in the evening during sunset will remain one of the best experiences of my entire life, and I do not exaggerate when I say that. The lunch the family made for the two of us was so generous that we could have it for two full days, let alone one meal-time! We felt completely home here and I do dream of coming to Abu Simbel again with my friends and when I do, this is where I will be!

Very nice place to stay, 15 minutes walk from Abu Simbel temples. You have everything, spotless and comfortable.The host is gorgeous, very friendly and speaks English fluently. I really enjoyed my time here. And, if you want, his wife cooks delicious food! 😋

Super clean room, great value for money, kind family hosting the guest house. Ashraf is very nice in person, gives clear advice about when the visit the temple. Arranged tickets for the sound and light show at the standard ticket price. I couldn't walk the 15 minutes to the temple due to a recent knee injury so Ashraf connected me to a tuk tuk driver Abdullah. With a simple WhatsApp message, he appeared quickly and took me to and from the temple and restaurants, making my entire trip smooth

The house was exactly as described, spacious, and close to Abu Simbel temple. Ashraf’s family cooks amazing meals (which you have to pay for) and makes the stay convenient and nourishing.

Everything. Ashrat and his family are very welcoming. The flat was great and spotless. The food they prepared for us was superb and we really felt like we were at home. The guest house is ideally located 10 mins walk from the temples. And Ashraf arranged a pick up from Aswan with an amazing driver (Mohammed). We would go back there without any hesitation. Best place in Abu Simbel.

We stayed one night at Osiris Guest House to visit the temple Abu Simbel. The host Ashraf is very welcoming and accommodating. We got a home cooked dinner, which was absolutely delicious. The rooms were small but the cleanest we stayed in during our Egypt trip. The guest house is in walking distance to the temple and Ashraf accompanied us to the ticket office in the morning. Ashraf was the best host we had in Egypt! He helped us organizing our trip to Abu Simbel by providing a taxi and helped us with other parts of our trip as well. We ate a fantastic dinner and breakfast for a fair price (the portions are HUGE). And the location as perfect to walk to the temple.
