“Wonderful stay and excellent experience”

The place is wonderful and very comfortable. The aqua park is excellent and perfect for families and kids. The swimming pools were clean, and the service was fast and great throughout our 3-night stay.

“Lovely and very good value hotel, with the nicest staff of anywhere I’ve stayed!”

The hotel itself was excellent - my room was large, clean and comfortable with a big balcony with a view over the swimming pools and out to sea. It was extremely good value. But the outstanding feature was the staff - they were all so friendly and helpful and really went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay. Special mention to Samih, Ahmed and above all to Yassouf and Mustafa at reception - they couldn’t have done more for me. When a trip I had pre-booked to visit El Quseir city didn’t work out they even organised for a driver and Mustafa accompanied me to see the city - it was a wonderful trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again any time I’m back.

“A very nice resort reasonably close to the Marsa Alam airport”

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. The location is at the beach and we loved it. It was very easy and reasonably cheap to arrange for transfer to the airport with the hotel.

“A new Hotel with lovely rooms”

The property is new, and the rooms and suites are large and comfortable. The Air condition is good and the kitchenette is useful. The pools and landscaping is quite nice and they are still building more blocks. The staff and General Manager offered their assistance with some issues and generally were attentive.

Nobody spoke english, food was disgusting and beside use there where only 5 other guests. We left the resort on the next day cause it was horrible.

“Worst Experience of my life”

really don’t understand how this hotel got these nice reviews. First issue we encountered was COMMUNICATION. No one in here speaks any english! MANAGER was the only one. But we only saw him after a couple of days of complaining. Rooms are really dirty (photos attached). Water from the sink was YELLOW (photo attached)! We understand we are in Egypt and it is known that tap water is not safe but at least clean water to wash ourselves!! Wifi is only in public areas but does not even work. It gets disconnected every time another person connect and it takes time to connect as you need to put a username, password and voucher code. We had to beg for their own private wifi even if it was included in our services. Food another HUGE issue! We had the all inclusive option. It says on internet it is both buffet and a la carte… Well, it was only a la carte or a set menu (which had the same dishes of a la carte). Good luck if you are staying here for more that 4 days. It is the same food over and over. NOT MANY OPTION AT ALL! Breakfast it said it was continental and full english… DEFINITELY NOT! Everyday there was an issue with our orders! We never got what we ordered on our table! They always messed something up, or didn’t bring it… I think it was due to the language barrier. The key card!!! EVERY SINGLE DAY these key cards got disconnected!! We had to walk to reception 2/3 times a day! and reception is a 5’ walk! Also got late to one of our activity due to this issue. On our 6th day we got tired of this and asked the receptionist to come to our room and fix it ASAP! THEY RAISED THEIR VOICE TO US! WE ARE GUEST! this is UNACCEPTABLE! We packed our stuff and left straight away. Do not book in here if you want to have a nice time during your vacation.. you will just get stressed! Last thing, beach does not have an easy access to the water.. mainly rocky and no chance to do any snorkeling! The only highlight of this vacation was Mustafa (the waiter) and Amar (the driver).

I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel. The variety of options was impressive and everything tasted amazing. All staff were very hospitable but among them ASHRAF a.k.a SHERIF stood out among all of them and ensured that our stay was unforgettable by attending to all of our needs and providing exceptional care throughout our visit. However, the location of the hotel is a bit isolated, which could be a downside for some. On the flip side, it was perfect for relaxation and soul searching. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful natural scenery made for a tranquil and rejuvenating stay. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, this hotel is the perfect choice.

“Great for relaxing holidays”

We really enjoyed our stay in this resort. Everything very clean, comfortable. Wonderful pools, nice beach with a bar. The reception staff is amazing, extremely friendly and helpful, they took a good care of all our wishes, plus arranged all the trips we asked for. Tasty food in the restaurant (only not really local) and friendly staff there too.

“Best stay!”

This resort is wonderful. We had one of the best hotel experiences of our lives. Everything is brand new. The room was beautiful, offering privileged views of the sea that you can enjoy from the very cozy balcony. The bed was very large and comfortable. In the restaurant, besides serving breakfast in the morning, you can also have lunch and dinner. The waiter who attended to us every day was very cordial and attentive. The pools are huge, with water slides that I recommend trying! The beach area (such a beautiful sea) has hammocks with umbrellas, as well as a meeting area with a shop and chairs where you can see the best sunsets. The reception staff made our experience incredible, with lots of details that never ceased to amaze us and that we gladly accepted. They took great care to make our stay spectacular.

The hotel lacks a lot. You feel bored when you are inside it because there are not many guests. It had only three rooms. It did not have a bar and the food was not paid for. The hotel is not safe enough, but everyone who works there are respectable people.

We had a great time at Oyster Bay in July (summer) 2023 on an all inclusive basis. We were two families and stayed in the apartments which were new, well furnished and comfortable with the promised pool view from the balcony. The staff were friendly and attentive. The resort and facilities were well maintained and in good condition. We were there off-season so we had a choice of two options at each meal. The chef kindly made alternative local dishes for us on request. Portions were generous and the food was tasty. Although it was quiet while we were there, the entertainment was still provided. The water slides were running beautifully, there was dancing and fun each evening and we had poolside entertainment too. The resort does not yet have an accessible reef for snorkeling but there is diving and snorkeling at the resort next door which was incredible. The resort's beach was lovely with sun beds and umbrellas and a Bedouin tent. There was not much place to swim in the sea in front of the resort as there is a shallow sea shelf in front of the resort (perfect for little ones). This has interesting sea creatures to find in it. There is a central section of the resort which is complete and further building is underway but did not disturb us as it is in another area. Thank you for a fabulous stay, Oyster Bay
