“Overall loved it, relaxing and would definitely go again”

The hostel staff was super lovely, very communicative and forth coming. We talked over whatsapp a lot and they were accomodating every step of the way, giving me great recommendations and an overall great service.

everything about this place is incredible! starting from tatiana and her team. we were here during a few days of heavy rain and my partner fell ill and tatiana was always available and wanting to help and same as her team of incredible people. i really felt that we had people to turn to in a time of need. beyond that tatiana helped arrange anything i was unsure of- the journey all the way from rio to day trips and to day to day needs on the island. besides that- i felt like we won the lottery with the location. if you want the most authentic stay you can experience its this place right here. the beach is by your door step and the way into town is an experience in itself making it even more special. all in all one of the best places i’ve stayed at in brazil.

The views from the balcony and the sound of the waves as you slept were incredible. The location was amazing, and the facilities were good too. Tatiana is also an amazing host who went above and beyond!

“Simple accommodation in a beautiful setting”

Simple studio flats in an unbeatable location with access to an essentially private beach. WiFi worked well, I was able to video call without issues. Tatiana and Cesar are wonderful hosts, always available to help or advise.

Wonderful and lovely place to stay for people that want to have a more quiet and secluded place away from the main village, but still within walking distance (15min, or a 5min taxi boat ride). It sits directly above the Comprida beach. On arrival/departure day, somebody will pick you up/bring you to the main pier by boat. I felt very welcomed by the place and the hosts. I was lucky enough to meet the hosts and there was one other couple staying there. On the first night, we spontaneously had an informal dinner altogether. It's a great base to discover the island, situated along the hiking trail to several more distant beaches and viewpoints.

This was one of the best stays we had in one year traveling the world ! The family is very friendly and helpful. They are always around sharing info., experiences and a good time :). They even cooked for us fish with pineapple and shrimps. We loved our stay and would have loved to stay longer!

Tatiana is very reactive and helpful, she made our trip in ilha grande exceptional, the view is amazing and you have a small private beach only for you . Tatiana’s family are very welcoming and friendly, we had an amazing time .

“Lovely stay in a beautiful location with amazing hosts!”

We had a wonderful stay at Praia Comprida Flats. Tatiana and César were amazing hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable and at home - collecting us by boat at the port and giving us cachaça / coffee on arrival. The location is super beautiful - overlooking a lovely beach conveniently not too far from Abraão - walking distance along a trail / beach. The place was clean with everything we needed and they had a SUP and rowing boat which we had fun trying as well as frescobol. They also hosted a delicious churrasco while we were there. We didn't want to leave... Muito obrigada!!
