“We had a fantastic stay at Pousada Rubi!”
The staff, particularly Gabbi and Beatrice, were very friendly and exceptionally attentive to our needs - particularly that of our 10-year old autistic son. The pousada was relaxed, beautifully decorated and kept in a very clean and tidy state. Breakfast was lovely, and coffee and cake was served (for free) at 4pm-5.30pm which was a bonus (the freshly made banana cake was divine!).

Absolutely everything exceeded our expectations! The staff made us feel completely at home, especially Nubia, Bia, Gabi, and all the wonderful ladies in the kitchen. There’s a genuine sense of harmony throughout the place that makes it truly special. The bedrooms were perfect for our stay, and the added bonus of enjoying the jacuzzi and sauna after a long day at the beach made the experience even more memorable. We’re definitely coming back :)

Our stay at Pousada Rubi in Ilha Grande was nothing short of exceptional. Ideally situated, the property offers the perfect balance, close enough to easily access the island’s main areas, yet tucked away just enough to preserve a sense of calm and seclusion. The views were a real highlight, with a beautiful outlook over both the mountains and the sea. One of the standout features was the peaceful beachfront setting, which created a serene atmosphere throughout our stay. The rooms were impeccably clean, with daily housekeeping maintaining a consistently high standard. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, reflecting a genuine commitment to guest comfort. The hospitality truly stood out. From the delightful breakfast to the charming afternoon tea, each offering added something special to the experience. Amazing location, staff was lovely (big shoutout to Bea, Gabi and Núbia in the reception). Complimentary tea is awesome. Facilities, decoration and overall vibe. Wesley, the lovely cat that is around the facilities. Their outstanding Bistró. The room (room 1 with sea view) is charming.

“Amazing place to stay”
This is an amazing pousada in Abraão. We had a room facing the sea. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. In the afternoon they serve a small snack, which was also very good.

“Great location”
Staying at Pousada Rubi was a very positive experience. I had a room with a sea view which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was excellent since at the beach and still close to the village center. Personnel behavior including service was great so all in all I recommend P. Rubi and also plan to be back for another stay.

This is a beautiful hotel just in front of the beach in the best area of Ilha Grande with lots of bars and restaurants. The staff is excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. The afternoon tea served every day was a must.

Amazing location right on the beach, lovely rooms, very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome and looked after all our requests. With your booking you get to use the hot tub and sauna which was really special.
