“great location between port and beach trails”

Friendly staff, cozy outdoor breakfast space. I loved the view from my little porch with a hammock, super nice for reading. nice big shower. Located close to the trailheads for visiting the beaches on the island.

The situation, a little bit away from the main "street", in the middle of the nature was beautiful. The service and the attention were excellent ... we enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff who gave us information about hikes (and how to get to them/boat costs etc). Wonderful views from the room (we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony in the hammock) and nice reception/‘salon’ built around giant boulders. We joined a boat tour operated by the hotel which was great as it was a very small group (max size 7 ppl) and it started earlier than other tours and went to some different places so it felt semi-private and not very busy with others.

“The best staff you could ever find and a fabulous hotel.”

The staff at this hotel were incredible. My daughter was very unwell and they couldn't do more to help. They bent over backwards to make sure we had enough towels, blankets, water etc. All of them were just lovely. On another note, they were also very knowledgeable about what to do, where to go and helped organise our days. The hotel itself is sympathetically built into the hillside making it blend with the environment with beautiful plants and water features running though the dining area and pathways. They serve great afternoon cakes everyday as well! A truly fabulous Pousada, on a magical island, with best staff you could ever find! Thank you Pousada Naturalia.

Nice rooms - simple but clean. We liked the hammocks out on the balcony overlooking the sea view. Breakfast was decent. Only negative is the 15-20 min walk from the pier to the hotel which can be troublesome with suitcases but there are porters available to assist

“Good”

For the ones who are afraid of insects running in the bathroom and in the room, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The hostel is in the nature hence many insects. Our room was also smelling, we checked out one day earlier. The staff was very helpful and lovely. Good breakfast.

We really liked the boat the hotel was offering. Our guide was amazing and the tour was really fun.

Super friendly and helpful staff and excellent English! The room was clean, comfortable and great views! Afternoon tea with cake everyday was a bonus and nice treat post a day at the beach! The location is also great, close enough to town and restaurants but on the end of the beach so it’s quieter, also the hill is very minor - after reading reviews we expected it to be at the top of the hill but instead the entrance is just before the hill starts!

Rooms were clean and tidy, staff super friendly and location was perfect, tucked away at the end of the beach but close enough to everything. Decor tastefully done, blending into the surroundings.

Staff - the most helpful, warm and attentive I've met in a long time! Room View - gorgeous and the hammock was a lovely surprise Food - Breakfast was tasty and although there wasn't a bar there was afternoon tea/cake (better in my opinion!) Room - lovely, spacious, and clean. No wardrobe or place to hang clothes though (in the room I was given at least. There were shelves and plenty of baggage storage space).

Staff were amazing - happy, helpful and friendly. Room was compact with a lovely view. Breakfast was varied and nice. Boat tour organised by hotel was outstanding - Rafael is a great guide and the tour was good value for money (don't be tempted by the in town vendors). Hotel also advised on transfers from Rio and back and selected an excellent and friendly driver for us.
