“Beautiful island, average accommodation considering the price.”

Abraão, Ilha Grande, is a wonderful place to visit for a few days. After a busy 10 days in Rio, it's a great place to unwind, with great little beaches, tropical waters, boat trips, and lovely little beach bars. We went on a few hikes, taking in the spectacular views and wildlife.

The hotel is close to the beach and still very quiet. The sea view from the balcony and breakfast terrace is amazing. The hosts are very friendly and supportive.

Incredible view with beautiful gardens and pretty buildings. Lovely staff with great breakfast. Afternoon tea a nice touch. Great location in Abrao far enough from hubbub but only 10 mins walk from the pier.

Perfect location and experience of life on Ilha Grande. Rooms were comfortable and definitely worth the little extra for the balcony with sea view. Starting the day with a relaxed breakfast each morning was perfect, food was good!

Almost nothing. Only une employee, Joicy, has been useful and kind. The distance of the beach avoids the noise.

The view was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is very small and charming, but at the same time really nicely designed and tastefully decorated. I truly loved the interior style. The breakfast was excellent and a big plus is that it can also be served directly to the room, which makes the stay even more comfortable.

“Incredible view, helpful staff and great breakfast!”

The view from our balcony was absolutely incredible - definitely a highlight of the trip.The beach is so close - after reading a couple of other reviews, I was thinking it might be further away but it pretty much feels beachfront - there's a very short, moderate climb which we didn't find particularly difficult or daunting (we're in our 30s with an average level of fitness). I've been further away from the beach staying in large beachfront hotels so I'm not really sure what a couple of other reviewers were on about. The breakfast was great - super tasty and varied, something for everyone, not just bread! The bed was very comfortable and I liked how immersed we felt in nature. I'd recommend taking the back road to get to the hotel if you have a suitcase/don't want to get your feet wet. There's still a very short walk along the beach but that's the fun of being on a tropical island and it's well worth it for the hotel. It's around 8 minutes walk from the tourist pier if you go the full way along the beach. Staff are very helpful and friendly - thanks for a great stay :)

We lived everything here, the room was Co for table with an amazing view and quiet location but still close enough to everything in Abraão. The breakfast was wonderful and the afternoon tea was a nice touch. Staff were attentive and kind.

The view is incredible. The environment well decorated with amazing trees and plants around the common areas. The breakfast is delicious with a variety of pastries brazilian treats and fruit. The staff is amazing, very friendly and kind.

The view was spectacular, the breakfast was really good, the staff were wonderful. The rooms were clean. Basic but everything we needed and an excellent price. Up a lovely quiet lane but well lit. Easy access to the beach and restaurants but not noisy. Thoroughly recommend it

“Fabulous”

We had the most amazing view of the sea and mountains, so stunning to wake up to each morning. Breakfast was a great mix of fresh rolls, ham, cheese, fresh fruits, juice, cake , coffee , all eaten on our balcony looking at the fab view. The staff were all so friendly and happy , a special mention for Bea , who spoke great English and was so kind and helpful , booking boat trips and giving trek and restaurant recommendations. We loved Ilha Grande.
