“Chill hostel”
Such a nice chilled hostel, comfy beds and a nive outside area (with a comfy hammock) to chill in. The staff were so friendly too. I would recommend this hostel if you're looking for a chilled place to stay on ilha grande. Great location too!

Everything was amazing! The hostel is super cute, just 3 minutes from the beach!! Everything is always spotless and the owner Ms Sol is incredibly friendly! I felt like at home here!!

Had a really nice time at MPB Hostel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Vila do Abraão, and the vibe is super chill and social. The staff are very friendly and helpful with everything. Clean, comfortable, and great value for money. Definitely recommend for a stay in Ilha Grande!

“Decent hostel”
It was a good hostel. There are plug sockets and a small shelf for charging your phone by each bed which is nice. The room was cool overnight with the air conditioning. There is a small kitchen to cook in and a fridge. Nice communal area. Great location in centre of town.

I really liked the atmosphere in the common area of the hostel. Gabi is a good host who tries to bring people together. She is also a great cook and we had nice self cooked dinners here. The kitchen is pretty well equipped. The owner is also a lovely woman who stopps by and liked to chat. If you know spanish or a little portugues then you can talk to the hosts. They don't really know english here.

Not really nice staff! Not really a good vibe! After 10pm you cannot chill in the kitchen/ lobby area anymore
