“A fantastic stay in paradise!”

The staff were so friendly and helpful, all awesome people, thank to each and every one of them! We loved the location, near a beautiful beach and beautiful greenery surrounding us. We also saw a family of mermosettes from out balcony! Lopes Mendez beach is also nearby, via a pleasant 20 minute hike. Arriving by speedboat to this location makes you feel like you are in a Bond movie, it is just out of this world! Super fussy people may expect somewhere more high end, but you must remember this is an eco lodge on a more remote side of an island - everything is clean, the water pressure is good, and there is AC available when needed. The small restaurant with its balcony overlooking the sea is beautiful, andd the breakfats served at your table are fantastic. We also really liked the evening meals we had.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. We booked the room with the sea view (the best room in our perspective) and were blown away by the scenery from the balcony. Aside from that, we loved the location right by the beach, the option to use the SUP’s and Kayaks, the delicious breakfasts (and food/drinks in general from the lodge) and the welcoming and attentive staff. Felipe and the team went out of their way to make us comfortable, answer questions and offer tips on what to do and where to go during the stay. We also appreciated the organized transfer back to Rio for us at the end of the stay. It was the perfect place to end off our vacation and I would highly recommend visiting.

“A slice of calm in paradise”

Just stunning! The only place on the beach, away from the more busy main town. Super welcoming and informative staff, great food, clean and comfortable cabins, very quiet and perfectly located. They also kindly let us check-in early, and helped us arrange a boat back to the mainland (top tip for people leaving in the morning - it’s actually about the same price per person to get a private boat and private taxi back to Rio as it is to get the taxi boat to Abrãao and get the shared boat/minibus). Would definitely come back here! Thank you!

In a stunning location with amazing views of the beach and the surrounding jungle. Staff were so friendly and nice and really helpful. Room was perfect and the food at the restaurant was great - particularly important given the isolated location of the hotel. Would recommend if you want to escape busy Abraão and stay somewhere quiet.

It’s a cliche, but everything! Location From what we could tell, this is the only hotel on Pouso beach, which makes it the closest place you can stay to Lopes Mendes beach. The hotel is a little way up into the jungle (very minor walk) which gives you beautiful views over the bay. Every room has view of the jungle and sea, with the restaurant area being particularly gorgeous. To get to Lopes Mendes you can take the more direct route, which takes around 20 minutes through the jungle and is very much up-and-down, and takes you to the most popular end of the beach. This is where day trippers tend to go and there are a few mini stalls selling cold drinks. The other route takes roughly 40-minutes to an hour, is more flat, and takes you to the quieter end of the beach. We tried both, and both are amazing, but the seclusion of the quieter end was our favourite. The trade off is there is you have to do a 30-minute round trip along the beach to get a cold drink. The Room We had room number 2, which had a huge bed, a spacious area with a sofa and coffee table, a good shower, and a lovely area our the front with tables, chairs, and a hammock. The Staff All of the staff were ridiculously friendly and thoughtful. We’re going to hit another cliche here, but it genuinely felt like they couldn’t do more for us. Noticing we had left an unopened drink outside of our room and taking it and placing it in their fridge to keep cool, is a small example of the kind of thoughtfulness that was constantly on display. The Food The breakfast was huge and delicious. The best we had in 3 weeks throughout Argentina and Brazil. Yoghurt, fruits, granola, and jam; a selection of fresh breads that were still warm; meats and cheese; and the option for fresh eggs and tapioca. We even overheard the staff offering to keep the breakfast for another couple to have at lunch because they were going to out too early.

The location of the hotel is fantastic- set right above the beach within the trees. The views are amazing and it feels like paradise.
