There was everything we could have ever needed and more. The cottage was spotless and everything was in excellent condition. There was a superb 'care package' that we were not expecting. Highly recommended.

The house is very well situated for exploring the Cairngorms,Balmoral etc.The house is well appointed especially the kitchen .All good for a comfortable visit.Terrace and summer house nice places to sit after a days walking.2 great reserves close by to enjoy . Brenda is a good host making sure we had everything we needed.She left us wine bread,butter and pots of Jam and Marmalade a nice touch.Thanks Brenda.

Beautiful cottage and very well equipped, lovely welcome pack. The cottage was spotlessly clean. My only comments and they are comments and not complaints and certainly would not stop me from staying again - double bed felt small especially when we are used to a king size and shower gel would have been nice touch (probably because I forgot mine). “Perfection”

Property was easy to find, we travelled from Dundee. Quiet area, well kept location. Property absolutely exceeded our expectations it was absolutely stunning. Initial walk in thought was wow this is nice very well maintained, then walked through to kitchen/diner then followed through livingroom/hall bedrooms etc and it just kept getting better and better. Extremely clean and fresh! Large drive way, and entry to property. All extremely well maintained and kept, especially for this time of year can be tricky with leafs falling off tree etc. a little welcome pack was left, with things such as bread/eggs and milk which was very thoughtful and added a lovely touch. We ate in the local bar/restraunt food was excellent. No complaints Not a single bad word to say about our stay here at Westwood cottage, will absolutely be booking again and recommending to friends and family.

Our second stay at Westwood cottage. Spotless accommodation with first class attention to detail.I would definitely recommend. Brenda is a fabulous host and obviously takes such pride in her cottage.

Location was fab. Everything you needed was in the house. Hosts were very helpful.

Excellent location approximately half along the Deeside road which makes it superb for exploring Deeside but also only about an hour or so away from the East Coast. Plenty of private parking for a number of cars Also good location for visiting Aberdeen City. Excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed. We will stay again when visiting Deeside.

“Great place to relax!”

The cottage was beautiful, everything good quality and very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 for a long weekend in Deeside and in easy reach of Aberdeen for an event we were attending. Aboyne is also lovely, though a small village it has great facilities - a small supermarket, butchers, Indian restaurant and pub. The golf course also looked good and accepts guests, though we didn't try that. Local walks are good, hills not so steep as nearby Cairngorms but still get good views from the top.

Extremely comfortable and absolutely immaculate accomodation. It was so spotless it felt like we were the first to stay there.
