You can glimpse majestic ospreys plunging into the loch, relax in the sumptuous spa, or take on two 9-hole golf courses amidst idyllic scenery at The Lodge. With bright and fresh décor, every room at The Lodge on the Loch provides a 32-inch flat-screen TV, along with a sleek and modern en suite bathroom. In Superior Bedrooms, a Juliette balcony gives a scenic view of Loch Aboyne and the mountains. An indulgent Japanese deep soak tub, a monsoon shower, and a steam bath are on offer in The Reflect Health Spa. There is a luxurious lochside hot tub, an indoor pool with cold plunge pool, and treatment rooms providing a range of relaxing treatments such as hot stone treatments and aromatherapy. The Osprey Restaurant and Bistro boasts fine dining with fantastic, panoramic views over the Cairngorm Mountains and its rugged landscape. Mediterranean cuisine with a Scottish twist is served each day, and made with the finest local ingredients.

We were made to feel so welcome at The Lodge - we were travelling with a young baby and the owners went out of their way to accommodate her needs as well as ours with late arrivals etc. The setting is stunning and in a great location to explore all the area has to offer.

Very handy for Coos Cathedral as we were attending a wedding there. Hosts were keen to meet any requests you had to give you a pleasant stay. Lovely location with view over the lake. We ate there both nights that we stayed and food very good. Our room was lovely with a view over the lake. Managed a visit to Balmoral castle while staying there.

The owners are so friendly and warmly people. The dinner and breakfast- everything homemade- were excellent. Just stayed there for one night but everything was very clean and very quiet:-)
