During our holiday, we had a wonderful four-day stay at this accommodation. My children had an amazing time, with plenty of safe outdoor space for them to play, including an area for football. The host is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a perfect stay. The place is ideal for families, couples, and groups of friends alike. I would happily recommend it to all my friends, and I hope this won’t be my last visit. I also recommend bringing all your food, drinks, and other essential supplies with you, as shopping centres may be quite far away and limited. That said, the accommodation is fully equipped with all the cooking tools you could possibly need.

“Birthday getaway”

We loved the little cottage and of course the floof cows as my daughter calls them. The hosts were fantastic and so friendly and accommodating. It was so peaceful there we didn't want to leave 😂. Also close to some spectacular castles and beautiful little towns.

“Wonderful place & excellent hosts in a beautiful area”

Such a wonderful place to stay in an amazing area with beautiful walks and nature. So many thoughtful and personalised touches with the welcome basket and arrival information that had clearly been tailored to us. Liz and Neil let us borrow their mountain bikes and even checked to make sure the tyres were pumped up beforehand! The guide had fab recommendations of things to do and Liz also got in touch with us about wildlife in the garden + when they were planning to get a local home cooked takeaway- highly recommend CC’s kitchen food too. We absolutely loved looking out for ceilidh and Rosie - the highland cows who come right up to the fence and made it that bit more special! The hot tub was also brilliant after a long day out hiking. The place itself is very comfy and tastefully decorated, and in particularly the kitchen is very well stocked with all the equipment that we needed. Overall a brilliant stay - full of both the adventure and peace that we needed; all 4 of us absolutely loved our time at tanar view.

The house had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay - the welcome basket of goodies was lovely, the surrounding countryside beautiful and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing in after a day’s walking. Although the hosts weren’t around the Tanar View App was full of helpful information and Liz checked in occasionally by text which was a nice touch.

We came here for Christmas. This stay was nothing short of amazing from entering the home to finding little gifts from the hosts from honey home cooked scones, bread chocolate for our children. We wouldn't hesitate to book this again. The owners are so hospitable and caring.they remind me of my parents.home from home. They made our Christmas one to remember. The beds are comfy. There is everything you need.the cottage is cosy, warm, and welcoming. The cottage is spotless the hot tub is spotless.there is nothing we can fault. “A slice of rural heaven”

We arrived to the most beautiful welcome basket, with lots of delicious treats. The information provided covered absolutely everything you could think of. The facilities are gorgeous, high quality and very cosy. It massively exceeded our expectations. The views, the coos, the hot tub, it was all incredible!

“Amazing place to stay”

We loved it here. We arrived to a welcome basket of goodies. The apartment was nice and cosy. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot with lovely toiletries. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook. We loved the hot tub especially after a day hiking. The hosts were easy to contact and lived next door. There were 3 friendly cows in the next field to watch while in the hot tub with good views of the fields and hills. There was free access to a washing machine, freezer and mountain bikes.

“Amazing place to relax and visit the region”

Amazing hosts. They were not around but they sent SMS to make sure we found our way. They gave us complimentary whisky, local food, which was amazing. Their guide was very useful. It only made us hope we had reserved more days!

“Best rest and relaxation in a long time”

The setting is so beautiful, the host Liz communicated really clearly from the outset. The Facebook Page and app made it all feel familiar before we got there. We had great weather but Tanar View is so well equipped that even if it had rained we would have been OK.

Host were lovely, happy to go above and beyond. Tanar view is in an absolutely beautiful location, the house is lovely. Log burner, hot tub, the stars at night time are out of this world. The host send you information and everything you could need to see and do. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need. Child friendly, dog friendly. Perfect.
