“Gorgeous idyllic lodge which made us feel we were living in a fairy tale”

Our lodge was beautiful - both the exterior and interior. It had everything we needed and it felt like a small idyll away from home surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The artistic and folk-y design motifs within the lodge were beautiful and it felt like we were living in our own fairy tale lodge. We even had a family of cats visiting us everyday which we adored. We cooked in the lodge, which had everything we needed, and the stove kept us very warm (there was still quite a bit of snow lying outside - which just made it more wonderful). We will definitely return.

Everything was perfect. Best place we stayed in Montenegro. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to relax that's for you. Only stayed one night, but didn't want to leave.

A Fairytale Village We visited this place in both winter and spring, drawn by its unforgettable atmosphere. Each season brings its own kind of beauty here — it’s a true retreat for the soul. The cozy wooden cabins, surrounded by the scent of ancient pines, create the feeling of stepping into a real fairytale. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the master craftsmen with golden hands who built this wonder and shared it with the world! If you're seeking something genuine, alive, and inspiring — this is the place for you. In late April, it was magical: nature awakening, with birdsong gently breaking the peaceful silence. And in winter, it’s a true winter fairytale. Highly recommended for anyone who loves beauty, nature, and authenticity.

“A beautiful experience”

Staying in these lodges was a wonderful experience. They are surrounded by forest and let you fully connect with nature. The place is also very clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The landscapes around here are stunning, so wherever you go, you’ll be amazed. I recommend skipping Black Lake as it’s very touristy, and instead exploring the nearby, untouched areas. Staying in places like this is also a more sustainable way to travel, supporting small local families instead of big hotel chains. To you, the sensitive traveler: be prepared – there are many dogs and cats on the streets, some in really bad condition. We, as tourists, can help by raising awareness and supporting local animal rescue organizations like @stray_aid_montenegro or @friendsofdogsmontenegro. Every little donation counts, and together we can help change things!

The accommodation was just stunning and Luka extremely nice! It was a short stay, but we will definitely come back :)

The house was super cute, very compact, clean and cozy! The owner had started the fire before we arrived and it was really warm inside.We were lucky to witness the first snowfall of the year !!

A place for the rest of soul and body. Everyone who loves peace, quiet, maximum atmosphere and comfort should come and experience it here. Owners, brothers are very positive and always ready to meet the guests. Very clean, comfortable to sleep. Warm, with good isolation and all in wood and made for an experience you will hardly find anywhere else. The smell of chopped wood on which we heat is unforgettable. The food is phenomenal and plentiful, prepared with taste and care. Especially the homemade roll-cake that everyone liked. All the best. A must visit!

amazing!! we had the best time, in such a beautiful area, away from everything and yet still a very short car ride to everything. great hot shower, and very comfortable bed. thank you for a wonderful stay. the cabin is so well thought and truly a work of art.

Superb location in the forest, which is much more beautiful than the rather disorganised and not always that attractive heep of holiday homes in Zabljak. The handcrafted wooden bungalow, with much attention to detail, was probably the cosiest place we ever slept in. Small but at the same time spacious enough. High quality chopped wood was in its place to keep the little fireplace going, finishing off the romantic setting. The landlord was a good host.

Beautiful self made little village in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful hike trail to curevac mountain top directly around. Definitely take the breakfast and dinner - selfmade tasty local specialities. Family athmosphere included.
