Great location Continental breakfast only

We booked late and last minute. The gentleman who was working at the time gave me a call to ask firstly how long we were going to be and if we had eaten yet as the kitchen was about to close. I told him we weren't fussy eaters so anything that the kitchen staff could plate up would be greatly appreciated. They only went and done us a fish and chips tea wow, absolutely amazing and thoughtful, thank you so much 😎 definitely recommend!

From the minute I arrived, everything was really good, as I was warmly welcomed and shown to my room. This is a busy local pub with a very decent offering of excellent local beers, plus excellent food. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable, a little noisy until the pub closes down, but super quiet overnight. I sincerely enjoyed my stay, saw a happy team working together on a busy night, and was overall very impressed.

The evening food in the pub was excellent and the atmosphere was lively. The location was great for my meeting the next morning in Milton Park and it had more character than the nearby big chain hotels.

The Plum Pudding came highly recommended by a work colleague and it didn't disappoint. Had a meal with colleagues in the evening of my stay and the food was superb. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was great. All facilities were clean and well maintained. I would recommend to others and would happily re-book in the future.

Lovely en suite room in very good order, well kitted out with a lovely continental breakfast supplied in the room/fridge. Very comfortable bed and a great shower.

Great food always!, Staff are always nice and have even started to know me by name as I travel to Milton Park so frequently. The rooms are always clean and the showers are always hot.

Convenient location for main roads to Didcot etc in pretty village. Very friendly staff and a happy relaxed vibe. ☺️

Easy to get to from Milton park. Breakfast is in the fridge in the room, good showers and great dinners. Nice vibe. Staff are lovely and I've travelled from work many many times to the plum and am happy every time.
